When you start the game you need force it to full screen use Alt+enter comand to foce to full screen then game loads go to options turn then fullscreen off and use strech mode to make it to true full screen here you go quick fix

i can’t even open it, windows error message keeps poping, yamawari:night alone has stopped working.
with administrator and al the compatibility options i get the same results.

This game will fuck with you. I enjoy most breeds of horror games, and I also enjoy this one. But MAN, this game doesnt fuck around. The tutorial gives you a nice bloodspatter of heartbreak garnished with a jumpscare. Five minutes in and I’ve already had a good cry and a good change of underwear. Games from NIS are usually cutisy and fun (Disgaea im looking at you!) but this one is cutisy and EVIL. Just a warning! Thanks for the upload Skidrow! I wouldn’t have EVER even considered buying this game (because on the surface it did NOT look like a game I would enjoy) but now I will be!
Same Crash here “Failed to inizialize” perhaps the cause is the crack or it’s need directx 11?
For those with issues to launch the game try to repair the VCREDIST 2013 included in the folder _CommonRedist

Works good, except for the random frame drop that probably will be fixed in a patch… also they censored removing bood from the woman corpse at street. 🙁

For the ‘crashing in loading screen’, you just need to go to the game’s files and search for the _CommonRedist folder and install or repair the vcredist.

You can support makers with money and game experience so they can make updates and new games… specially small companies.

GUYS ! For fix loading crash / save crash and setting not save… Make sure you run the game as administrator ! that’s it ! Like said Sugu…

I’ve try to repair the 2013 vcredist
I also try to open the game with administrator permission
but no luck so far
I fixed the crashing issue.. I tried repairing 2013 vredist and set game to administrator default, lastly I set compactibility to windows 98/ME.
it keeps crashing on load screen, tried to run as admin and fixing the 2013 vredist folder but… the folder is empty, idk pls offer some advice id love to play it soon

Repairing 2013 vredist, setting the game to administrator by default, and selecting compatability to windows 98/ME does absolutely nothing. The game still won’t start.
To fix the crash as soon as you open it, check if you are not running the game with integrated graphics(which causes the game to not even open), and to fix the loading screen crash be sure to run the game with admin rights and in japanese locale, those things fixed the game for me.
Are there any fix for the failed to initialize error? I can’t get it to work even though I’ve tried updating the vredist, changing the region locale or changing compatibility settings.
I don’t have integrated graphics. I have a geforce 770 GTX

After install latest patch and use the crack to…
try download DXCPL.exe
after it create DXCPL on Yomawari installation folder… paste DXCPL.exe inside that folder…
open DXCPL.exe click Edit List… select “…” find “yomawari-steam.exe” click “open”
on bottom choose “11_1” and check (V) “Force WARP” click “OK”
run the game as an administrator and use compatibility mode windows 98/ me
if the games still not run
try change resolution on settings.ini to 600×400

Found a way to run the game.
Install -KB2670838 from microsoft site
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36805
then run the game as Administrator so it wont crash when saving in the house.
also the Jizo statues only is a check point for when you died, it’s not an actual save point.
don’t close the game when you only saved at a jizo statue.
