     Same problem here… after getting OpenAL32.dll from the internet and copying it on the game folder i get a different error tho… says the game cannot run due to an error.

       Bro i had the same problem, i just downloaded OpenAL 1.1 Windows Installer (zip) from https://www.openal.org/downloads/ installed it and the game worked!

   It doesn’t work here even after downloading the missing DLL file, after that I get an error about the C++ libraries, I setup them again from the 2013, but the error still remain… After digging a lot, it seems that who has got an old pc that works in both x32 and x64 system, gets this error on many games due to compatibility conflicts, and I can confirm that I had the same error on many other games.
