     Malware-gen is the generic ( this is the Gen ) detection for _anything_ the antivirus doesn’t have a name for, and they mostly Aren’t viruses but PUPs ( potentially unwanted programs ) – the class that contains Cracks of softwares and games. Malware doesn’t necessarily means a virus nowadays. It can be unwanted software in general or untrusted software ( if you are a programmer, your own programs will be detected as malware for not having valid signatures or messing with system memory with funny or unsafe ways )

     Using an antivirus requires understanding of it’s detections. If you do not have the knowledge to differentiate safe from unsafe software, consult people more used to this matter to know if the file is safe.

     to be honest, the character doesn’t look ugly and the game doesn’t seem to promote degeneracy or woke-ism, so it’s not really an “automatic skip”.
