for those having problems with the ”Rome2.exe bad image” message
go to your virtual drive located in my computer where youll see the image mounted on your virtual drive, right click and select open in the drop down menu. youll see files including a folder named CODEX. copy this CODEX file to your Rome 2 directory (if you cant find the directory go to desktop and right click your ROME 2 shortcut, select open file location)
paste the CODEX file into this directory click copy and replace option. wait for it to copy the CODEX file.
play the game from desktop short cut enjoy 🙂

i had the same issue with bad image , i un-installed the game and re-install .
It worked for me at the 2nd time.

1) I bought Rome II TW on steam to play online.
2) Then i deleted this version of the game with all DLCs, to save space and not have the same game 2 times. Also now i can use steam workshop for mods.
3) Now i would like to play some singleplayer (with mods) as greeks, however i need DLC for this.
QUESTION: Is there a way to play signleplayer with all DLC using steam version? Like copying some files from this version with crack?
