     Then you did it wrong. It should look like this
     “C:\Games\Troubleshooter Abandoned Children\Release\bin\ProtoLion.exe” –pack –usedic –steam main

     Obviously change the directory as you need, but you need to keep the ” around it since the folder name has blanks and the attributes need to be behind the “.

     the problem could be that your username has special symbols in it. try to unpack the game directly into the C: participation and try again.

    Changing the properties made the shortcut launch the game for the first time. Now I can’t open the game despite making another shortcut.

    Deleting the save folder made the game launchable but what’s the point then.

    Fix only works to boot up once. can’t boot again after that.

    before second launch, deleting settings file (in documents folder, not game directory) should make the game start up as before again, you just need to setup graphics and other settings again.

    now, if anybody has a good idea on how to prevent savegame corruption, i’d be interested in that.. :/
