    @pinetemplar Your issue sound similar to my problem in the Queen and Crone version. I fixed it by applying Voski patch on top of Codex Release. Haven’t try on this version yet.

    OK it is possible to run the game without crash if you have a backup, it was necessary to launch the launcher and click on the button “continue the campaign” and the game loads your previous game without crashing, then just return to the menu to launch a new part.

    Hello, sorry i’m not english but for the problem of crash with new faction i launched a new game with a normal faction i did 5 or 6 turn then i left the game,relaunched a new game with the new faction and it work…always a problem with auto save but manual save work and everything work.

    Salut,pour ceux qui ont un soucis a lancé une nouvelle partis avec la nouvelel faction…j’ai eu sa aussi a la fin du chargement retour a window sans message…j’ai du coup lancé une nouvelle partis avec une faction ” normal ” fais 5 ou 6 tour une bataille puis j’ai quité le jeux,relancé…et lancé une nouvelle partis avec la nouvelle faction et la miracle sa passe….toujours un soucis de sauvegarde automatique qui crash mais les manuelles passe sans soucis et tout fonctionne….voila peux être que sa vous aidera.

    i did some research and it looks like game crashing after battles is not from crack – people were complaining about it on forums from day one of teh release and about some other bugs. Hopefully this issues will be adresed and then we will get crack of the properly working game. ty to the codex team <3

    Any fix for battle-end crashes? Nothing seems to fix it, and I’ve noticed that one can play few battles (roughly 3-4) untill that crash occurs, regardless of faction.

    Game crashes on startup loading screen. I’ve tried a lot of things:
    1- Reinstall of game, C++, DirectX and graphic drivers didn’t help (although it may be worth doing)
    2- Disabling the AV/Firewall did not help (but….)
    3- Running through desktop shortcut with/without admin privileges didn’t work

    What worked for me was to disable AV/Firewall, run the Launcher.exe as admin (not the shortcut!) and run with the DirectX12 beta option

    actualy there is a coast beta branch of update – it looks stable and all teh streamers have no issues with it. It contains all the updates to passive tree and a lot of critical bugfixes. would be realy happy to get my hands on it if possible cause it looks like this is basicaly the next big update.

    They’ve released an optional beta update on Steam called “The Festag Update” which supposedly fixes the (very frequent) post-battle crash and vampire coast related (unavoidable) crash.

    If you guys could upload this beta for us I would give you the naming rights to my firstborn and my firstborn’s first pet.

    Anyway, thanks for this upload. I played a whole vortex campaign despite the 100 odd crashes.

    I also found a way to fix crash after battle. Before it crashed 5/5 battles, so after every battle. My nvidia graphic drivers was 417.xx i downgraded it to 399.07, and now i played like 1.5h without any crash. No more crashes after battle for me, for now atleast.

    Tested the above fix, no good. Tried clean installing various driver versions including the one mentioned above to no avail.

    Neither DirectX versions help.
    Lowered all memory soaking settings (textures etc) to low.

    I now only crash once every hour or so but still occurs.

    The Vampire Coast elimination crash is still present.

     I’ve downloaded this game and keeps crushing/sudden stop, while playing (end/begin turn, after/before/in battle. the problem is that, even when I quit this game the other games are affected and crush/sudden stop(bf4) then I got blue screen. I formated pc two times by now.

     Hello guys.

     Ive found a way to fix crashes after battle. ( Only crash for me was on loading screen after battles happening randomly but mostly after big battles-) I was using a recent nvidia drivers 400+. I literally uninstalled the pilot of my graphic card and the card installed an old driver saved in it (2015 version). No more crashes after battle 10 hours per day without any crash. There is definetly something wrong with the new nvidia drivers.

     Despues de probar de todo, yo conseguí que fuese estable, ejecuntando el juego con “solucion de problemas de compatibilidad” y arrancarlo como para windows 8. Así solucioné el problema de los crash en tiempo de carga, tanto para cargar campaña como para la pantalla de carga de después de una bata.

     Despues de jugar casi 60 turnos sin problemas, ahora se me crahsea otra vez al pasar turno en campaña , cuando llega el turno a la faccion costa del vampiro, otra vez crash y al escritorio.

     He probado otros repacks como “el amigos” con los mismos problemas.

     Por lo que he investigado por ahí, el problema es de el jugo en sí y los ultimos DLC´S. Cantidad de usuarios de Steam quejandose en sus foros de estos problemas. Osea culpa de los creadores que son unos chapuzas.
