I get strange error when starting. It says application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. WTH is that? I never had problems with games from you guys

This game is an RPG masterpiece… but in multiplayer of course. SIngleplayer kinda sucks.
I played this so much during my childhood, I won’t play it again because the nostalgia on me will bring me tears… but yes… it’s a lovely RPG… +1 recommended!!!!

This release requires Steam to be installed which is a huge letdown for me since I don’t like having Steam on my system. It’s really my fault for not first checking if there is a GOG version 🙁

Side-by-side errors was solved by installing the Redist folder stuff.

i can’t scroll down.
Please help . I installed the game as instructed , the intro played but in the start-game screen the cursor just freezed . When I check TQ.exe “compatibility” under “properties” , the box – disable display scaling … is (correctly , I presume) ticked . My platform is Win10 with c++ 2010 2012 2013 2015 x86 + x64 .

For the ppl with the steam required just manually copy the crack contents ☺
And the side by side error just go to the redis folder and install 2005 and 2008 vcredist, if it asks for repair or remove select repair. ?

Just install the redist software located in a game folder (C++ and DirectX)
It’s not working side-by-side error, and I did install all from the folder. Uninstalled the game.
