@Bruno, the link u posted is a repack (means lower filesize), and takes a bit more time to install. Other than that, the game is the same. I personally just prefer to get it from CODEX 😀

guys, I just finished installation of the game, and it works perfectly. start with the main game first, then install all of the patches one by one in the main installation folder, if something is missing probably that’s why you both got the error and it’s not working
Does anyone know how the crack on this works? It keeps on launching Origin when I try to launch the game?

I’ve solved changing the language to English, follow these steps:
regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Maxis > The sims 4 > and change the locale to en_US
I wish I could play the game in Italian but as far as I see there is no language package.
If it doesn’t work, I don’t know how else to help you.
@Nadine To patch the game, look inside the “CODEX” folder. Inside you’ll find a folder called “Game” that you need to copy and replace into the game directory.
It seems that the Tiny Living pack is not included (every other DLC is).
I installed the game and the first update file just fine but whenever I try to install the other update files the installation fails and the don’t launch anymore, can anybody help?
I keep getting the error “There was an error of unpacking in the module ISxDeltaExtract!” I did turn off my firewall and the anti-virus. Anyone got the same problem? I installed the ISO, then updated the game using the first update, but with the 2nd update when “ClientDeltaBuild8.package.cdx_newfile” is installing, it throws out this message.
Everything works fine until I get to the update “v1.60.54.1020.incl.DLC” which fails and the beginning of the installation, I get this black box with the “isdone.dll” error and it screws up my everything, if I launch the game it will open Origin and I can’t install the other updates. I need to reinstall the full game to get it to work again only to happen the same thing again.
After installing the iso, what do I do? how can i install updates? and languages?

Not functional, one of the updates will give a ISDONE.dll error and after that it breaks the game files, forcing you to completely re-install from the start. Even then, it will keep doing that, so the whole download is completely broken. I advise strongly against downloading this one.

Try installing v1.59.73.1020 without ticking “Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir”

I now downloading, but in update I don’t see this pack.
Everything works fine, but whenever I try to build a wall or place precreated room, game falls without any error. How can I fix this?

IF ANYONE HAS ISSUE INSTALLING UPDATES READ THIS:
Install updates from earliest to the latest but ALWAYS remember to check the copy codex into installdir. By default it’s unchecked so you need to select it in order to install all updates successfully. I had issues until I figured this out so I shared it here for you guys. <3 Hope it works for you
I have the same issue with the isdone.dll
I got to update 3/4 updated but when it comes to the last Update the error appears.
I tried re-installing the whole game again with and without checking the copy codex to installdir. Still fails at the “newest” update.

Okay… after deleting the whole game and re-downloading + re-installing this version it worked.
One thing I did different was replacing the Game folder with the one from version 1.61 from CODEX and.

How do you add mods to a cracked version of Sims4, I know how to with the paid version from origin, but adding the UI and MC Command center isnt working with the cracked version

Install the updates from the oldest to newest. And don’t forget to tick the box “copy contents of codex..” every time you install an update.

I think that the problem of sum mismatch is the name of the game folder, in the installation change the name of the game folder to the sims 4, it worked for me

I’ve some issue with the game. I could install it without any problem, but the University and Tiny Living packages aren’t included (or installed?). Although when I launch the game the newest update is being written at the bottom, these packeges aren’t included in the game.
I’ve tried to re-install it several times, but the same happened.
Could anyone help me please?

My solution:

But don’t worry. You can use your native language by copying the contents of TS4_Language_Strings_1.61.15.1020 into your game dir and run the EASetup.exe afterwards

install uptade setup 1.58 check copy codex to installdir
install update setup 1.59 check copy codex to installdir
again for 1.60 and 1.61 update check copy codex to installdir alway !
for end, copy past all ts4 language 1.61 in the sims 4 installation folder
click EASetup in the installation folder to choose the language, close.
Game is ready ! Enjoy

to the people crashing in build mode….save your saved games to desktop..uninstall the game completely
run codex-the.sims.4.discover.university.iso let it install. after it installs, install the updates starting with The.Sims.4.Discover.University.Update.v1.58.69.1010-CODEX once you click on Setup.exe there will be an option to install codex straight to gamedir make sure the box is checked repeat for the other 3 updates making sure the “install codex straight to gamedir” box is checked every time. launch the game and enjoy 😛

Everything went well until I got to theThe.Sims.4.Discover.University.Update.v1.60.54.1020. It showed an isdone.dll Error and the installation failed. I had to repeat the whole process all over again. On my 3rd try, still no luck. I tried following all of the other people’s comments, I still have not solved this issue.Tried re-registering my isdone.dll but it only showed that my PC does not support x86 dll files and I need a x64 bit version for it to work. (As far as I have searched, there are no x64 versions out there). I am running a x64 bit Windows 10. I don’t know whats wrong with this anymore,

I have installed it all works fine when i have antivirus off, but when i turn it on and try to run it it gives me TS4.exe – Application Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000009a). Click OK to close the application. What should i do so it would work with antivirus on?
For time bieing i added them to antivirus ignore list but still would be nice if would work without need of that. if anyone wonder the TS4.exe in Bin_LE is 32bit one and the one in Bin is 64 bit one.

The reason why its saying Discover university rather than Tiny living is because Discover University is a DLC, Tiny living is a stuff pack. If you were waiting for Tiny living like me, just download it, this game has Tiny living in it.
I had the same DLL issue on update 1.60. what worked for me is to just move the updates to my system drive and run them from there, hope it helps guys

Hello Guys, I finally managed to fix the ISDone.dll error with the latest updates.
What worked for me was to install everything in safe mode of windows 10. For that u will need a local account with admin rights without setting a password to that account. Otherwise safe mode on Windows will ask a password and then its getting buggy! So create an extra local account for your pc with admin rights and install the game and the updates in safe mode.
1. Make local account with admin rights and no password
2. Restart computer while holding shift key
3. troubleshooting –> advanced boot options –> Reboot
4. Press 4 for safe mode after reboot
5. enter local account with admin rights.
6. install games and updates
7. Reboot pc to exit safe mode
8. play

Hello Guys, I finally managed to fix the ISDone.dll error.
What worked for me was to install the game and the updates in safe mode of windows 10. For that i made a local account on my pc with admin rights. My microsoft account on my pc with admin rights gave me problems with the correct password, while it was correct. So try using a local admin rights account for this.
Install everything from start in safe mode windows 10.
