   Anyone had tried it yet ?
   i didint want to, cuz i had the idea of a perfect 2D survival game (This is the war of mine) and didint want to run backward with an early access new game.

   If the “coronal explosion” whatever the crap that is, destroyed all electronic equipment, then that radio in the second picture… Is made of bananas, and works with the power of friendship? I mean, it’s not like the rest of the game makes any more sense than that description. It’s like a preteen’s fanfic version of the Fallout universe.

   This game has great balance between finite sessions and possible infinite gameplay – actually the whole possible reason to restart several times is to get characters that eat less and can sandbox awhile.

   Have no comment compairing it to ‘This war of mine’ cuz guys were exploiting ‘real war experience’ which is disputable. Here is pure fiction, no strings attached.

   Disadvantages – if you don’t savescum, initial pace might seem overwhelming and need many restarts, which is further complicated by your fist char being an ever hungry predator. On the other hand if you do savescum then just build some water collectors, go to competitors land and eat all their animals raw – mwahaha.

   Hey. Coronal explosion (or rather coronal mass ejection) is a massive emission of solar wind (charged particles) from Sun. For example on March 13, 1989 the entire province of Quebec, Canada suffered an electrical power blackout due to such solar storm. This happened because an influx of charged particles induced magnetic field which in turn induced excessive current in power grid.

   As for the radio, its not a radio – its a phonograph that has no electronic components and can be run by cranking a lever that winds a spring. However, making a radio wouldn’t be a very hard task to do (and in my opinion one of the first things to do in apocalypse after securing food and shelter) – electronics could be destroyed in solar event but separate components wouldnt be affected as there wont be any closed circuits that such elements would be connected to. And after all radio is nothing else than just a tuned RLC antenna.
