In case anyone is confused looking at these comments.
It’s not actually “A Story about my Uncle”. Different Devs and the former game used energy beams to grapple not a rope.
But you could argue it is a clone using seemingly the same core mechanic.
I know it sounds like I have a stick up my ass but I thought op legit gave the game the wrong title at first glance. It’s fine.
a story of my uncle is a triple a games… this is a very shitt game. bad optimization and general option very trash……. no change resolution ……frame rate horrible …….. yes i play 5 minut and unistall this poor shit game XD

@Phoenix It’s not seemingly it is the same mechanic. It works in the same way. You can tell what they did was use that for a base and then build off of that. They do add to it and try to make a few changes to avoid a lawsuit but this looks like they ripped of A story about my uncle.They are allowed to make a wrist on the arm puzzle game but it feels too much was copied.
Basically it’s like this ideal’s can’t be copyrighted but expressions of an ideal can be. The core mechanics feels like the same expression of an ideal. One being an energy beam and one being a grapple does not make the mechanic work differently. In my opinion it’s at least 80% or higher the same. To me that’s not enough. It feels as if they completely ripped off the base of the mechanic then tried to tinker with it just enough to avoid a lawsuit.
Even if they have it just enough to avoid a lawsuit…it still feels ripped off material to me. I am not really an expert though it’s just how I feel.
