Visual Novel IS the type of game, not the genre. visual novel’s genre is adventure.

in case some of you guys don’t know. it’s been a few years since VN(Visual Novel) got categorized as ADV(Adventure), so the genre is not wrong. I was also like “what? seriously?” when I knew of this, so i won’t judge you guys.

I can’t seems to open the game it keeps on opening my steam and since I didn’t buy it. I can’t play it. Did I install it wrong?

I’ve installed, uninstalled & reinstalled multiple times within the space of 3 hours.
BGM plays fine, character voices play fine, but menu sound effects don’t work, and the game’s ingame UI menu won’t save my volume slider positions.

I downloaded from the torrrent link and every time I launch the .exe it redirects me to the store page on steam. Anyone else having this happen?
@Nandha inot sure if you think he is wrong or not but he is right, Visual Novel is what you call a game where you just choose actions and dialogue, Adventure game has gameplay, this doesn’t.
game.exe gets blocked by my av and even windows defender if av turned off, wew lad
I’ve got a problem with the game (thanks for the upload by the way): the thing is that each time I open the game the texts won’t appear. The dialogues are obviously there but they won’t appear for some reason.

I’ve got a problem with the game, I mounted the iso and did everything needed, I manage to launch the game but when I click on Start Game button nothing happens.

IIaIIa well i managed to fix te problem just now xD in the file you download theres a “CODEX” folder and you need to copy and paste in where the game is installed

I experienced a problem with the save files, i quick saved a couple of times but when i closed the game and entered later there were no files availiable to be loaded. I dont know if the same has happened to someone else and if it has then can you tell me how to fix it in case you have done it?
Apholious I read your answer just now, sorry. I tried to copy the CODEX folder in the install folder but nothing changed… i’m thinking it may be my PC’s problem since it’s a quite old machine.

the CODEX folder containing the crack files do not exist! please help / update! The torrents only contain the codex.nfo and codex-steins.gate.iso
