THere is no .exe file to launch the game if DL by torrents.
I tryed to launch it from the app you can find in StateOfDecay2/Binaries/UWP64 folder,, but if there is no crack in the same folder, you will just have an error that will tell you that some files are missing.
If you launch it with the files on the folder, the script “runs”, but after 2-3 seconds stops and the app stop launching and just close.
Do someone has any idea to fix it ?

took a bit of work, but it works and i love it! so first of all, because microsoft is a little bitch, which is why they don’t get my money for this, the game only works on windows 10, and there is no exe file in the game folder you run the game from. if you ran tried running one of the exe files, you broke it and probably need to reinstall the game again.
you need windows 10, and you need to sign into the xbox app on windows to play the game. once you sign in to the xbox app, turn off your wifi and start the game from the start menu shortcut, not an exe file! because the game is a windows 10 store game, there is no exe file, because again, microsoft is a bitch. you need to use the start menu shortcut, which you can drag to the desktop to make it easier. after you start the game without internet (or you can block it in your firewall, that works too) it should start up, load the main menu, it might crash, if it does, start it again and it should be fine

To me dosn’t Work….that Zip file …
If you still can’t get it working go up and read the comment by pcmasterrace and make sure you have dev mode enabled and virtualizing turned off in BIOS and also in windows.
Also make sure you have Avast or your virus program disabled or installed. Avast was killing my install, even when I disabled it. I had to remove and then reinstall once I was done with SD2.
Finally, I found it didn’t work when I tried installing it on my SSD. It would say that it worked but never loaded. Make sure you install on a non-encrytped HDD instead of your SSD.
If you’ve done all that, it should work.

It has been built from the ground up to spy on you, that’s the only reason why MS give away those for FREE. If a company want to give something free: YOU ARE THE PRODUCT.
On average windows 10, call up Microsoft servers every SECOND. It takes screenshots of everything you do, it logs every keyboard stroke you make, it record every site you go, it record every program you install, it’s basically a 24/7 surveillance app that log everything you do in real time.
It is a matter of time before there is a scandal because a MS employee got access to hundreds of thousands people bank accounts and drained them out.
It gets worse. Do you know what DirectX is?
DirectX is a completely OBSOLETE set of 3d libraries that doesn’t hold a candle to it’s competitors (OpenGL/Vulkan) when it comes to performance. Worse the other works basically on everything (consoles, windows, unix, etc…).
But the big difference is DirectX BELONGS to microsoft, and therefore microsoft FORCES game studios to use them if they want the game to be released on Xbox, and is the reason of the stagnation of 3D graphic.
Think it’s over? Guess again.
DirectX 12 is purposefully BROKEN to not work on anterior version of windows, there is no objective reason for it to not work unless it crashes when it detects something that isn’t windows 10 or the Xbone OS.

We dont have a luncher in a start menu on our windows 10 then the installation finish, please fix that
we only want copy and paste the crack and play, not follow million of steps to play these game

This works perfectly fine.only windows 10 ofc,personally have version 1803 of windows and gtx 970 with 16gb ram.runs like a charm.although i read about a new big patch 20 GB.propably this is not included here right?

So anyone that might have a problem with the game doesn’t appear in the menu entry i have solution that might work :
1. run as admin power shell
2. copy paste this ini your power shell : get-appxpackage -all |% {if ($_.packageuserinformation.installstate -eq “Staged”) {$_.packagefullname}}
3. identify the error (mine was Microsoft.Daytona…)
4.then you copy paste :
remove-appxpackage “the line you copied” (with no quotes)
5. Finally you run the installApp.exe and wait it until it successfully register the game.
and you can find your game in the menu entry. i hope its going to help. cheers !

THis fucking games from Windows 10 gay store every have leaking problems in RAM RECORE and now this it runs well until ram gets filled and then stutters incoming. In my case super unplayable slideshow.

I had to upgrade my win7 to 10 but other than that, it´s working so well! I installed it, replaced files and then run the game from the start up menu.

for thos guys having probem with the program not visible in start menu just follow “Guides” comment worked for me. Thank you verry much bro. BTW he’s comment is the one wherein you will use the powershell app. 🙂 TIme to fix the bug guys. Takes a litte time registering the app. Just wait for it. DONT CLOSE THE INSTALLAPP.EXE once it start registering. or your going back to step 1.

if your game close after logo, just delete the ”concrt140_app.dll” in game folder
