Downloaded, trying to run it, already cracked, i get a “Fatal exception (Application exception)” error, it wont start, anyone else with the same problem? Any idea for a solution?

for those that have the fatal exeption: did u try to run it as admin? that fixed it for me
for anyone getting the fatal exeption error, just run it as admin, it worked for me
For those receiving Fatal Error, I found a fix after checking the error log.
Go on C:\Program Files
Right click on Starbound
Click on Properties
Click on the Security Tab
Click on Advanced
Choose your user and then click on Change Permissions …
Choose your user again and click on edit
Tick the Full Control at Allow
OK – OK – OK – OK

Really, is this the 1.0 Version? because in the .exe says “0.9.0.0” and it says “Beta” while playing. So… Dunno. It don’t seems legit.

Just so you know, it’s actually a mistake on the dev’s part that the .exe file is named “Starbound – BETA”, so rest assured for you are indeed playing the latest version,
Can you upload a Non-ISO version, like just the setup or a ZiP, which just needs to be extracted

Just copy (copy and replace) the crack in the install folder. After that, do what I have explain earlier.

When I try ro tun the game, it says MSVCP140.dll not found and it doesn’t start. Any solutions?

cant run the game.. says MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll are missing. i replaced the cracked folders.. and reinstalling did nothing

To those who have the same error as godsizeee, Agusss and KÜRTLÜK, just open google and manually download the .dll that you’re missing.
To those like Gbriel, yes it is the 1.0 version. The name and the version at properties is due to a mistake made by the devs.
