How do you change to a higher resolution on this? Is this the updated game with the new patch? I cant get it to go any higher than the original.

I’m trying to play kotor 2 on my dell windows 8 laptop but it keeps crashing after i create my toon I’m autistic and cant figure out how to fix this issue is there anything you can do to help me out my kotor that i play on this laptop gives me no issues like that however thanks
Of course game doesn’t work on win7, you need to patch and crack it manualy.
I have the same probs as Juan. game keeps crashing after 1st cutscene. will be very grateful to know if there is some kind of remedy as I’ve waited too long for this.

So I take it this version isn’t steam and doesn’t have gamepad support? For those of you using win7 and 8, getting the crash after first cutscene, I remember turning off T&L lighting or the mip mapsupport, maybe shadows? (one a those) in the graphics options. and that fixed it, if this helps anyone.
I had this on my PC before and it worked great with my gamepad, after wiping my HD and reinstalling everything on my PC I can no longer use my gamepad, any thoughts? I have Win 10 & Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710

I would love to play this game but…
I cannot mount the Bin file, made some research and I’ve tried creating the .cue file (Still not working), I’ve tried other Mounting tools (Still not working), and I’ve even converted the file to a .iso file and it’s still not working….
I’m seriously running out of option….If someone can tell me how and which program they used to install it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, I’ve figured out how to fix the crashing issue… on my game at least!
Go into your KOTOR2 file location then find and open the swkotor2.ini configuration file, NOT the swkotor2.exe file.
Once opened, change FullScreen=1 to =0 under both [Display Options] and [Graphics Options]
Also, add the line AllowWindowedMode=1 to the [Graphics Options] section.
If done correctly, the game should run without issue.
Save a copy of the original swkotor2.ini file somewhere in case of mistakes.
You can then change your resolution in the game settings to fit your screen.
