   One of the few good russian games. It covers a niche for space adventure broadly from kids to adults. It’s safe to give to kids from 5 y.o. if they are smart, closer to 10 normally… and still playable by kids at their 30.

   Disadvantages are replayability – quests that make it very immersive for the first couple of times will be the same later.

   Also – game is a self living sandbox that will eventually solve itself on any difficulty. The player does not save the world – the player lives during the period the world struggles and maybe catches the opportunity to get the bosses before others do – that’s why five year olds can play it.

   Can Recoomend it is such an unique game. The OG game was so charming. like I even went through the Text adventure minigames cuz several of them were hilarious or full of absurdity and puzzles, and this comes from somone who is Hardcore into not reading and can’t stand pretentious “illiterate writters” like Shakespeare

   It also had shmup sections without the annoying rail autoscroller nonsense, you just get pitched into an sphere arena where you can escape or fight the boss

   and the base game is supposedly turn based even though it flows like Real time. you just roam scavenging for stuff until you can overpower the crisis, That can also be solved by diplomacy or questing so you don’t need to grind for end game stuff if you wish to speedrun it

   music was a bit hit and mix like there was a track that would eventually play waves and seagulls in space ranger 2. that was so off

   This game was released when i was 21, a college student. It was so damn good that i actually payed for it, instead of just pirating when it was a common practice.

   This game RULES. And it deserves your money
