I have a problem with mss32. dll.
I have windows 10 and gives me error mesage that C:/windows/system32/mss32.dll not compatible is with current version of windows.
I had earlyer also problems with Bink2w32.dll and d3dcompiler_46.dll
Fixed the 2 but only left is the mss32.dll problem.

matsy i thinlk it’s from ur antivirus close it or turn it off till u get game work dll files in cracked games tend to be annoying with antivirus install the game again too

When I try to copy the crack over into the installation folder, the file:
Steam_api.dll
says that it needs permission from ‘everyone’ in order to copy over. I tried following instructions to add to the security exeptions but it didn’t work. any assistance?
I was able to solve my last problem by temp. disabling my AVG protection. but now when I try to open the game, all I get is a black screen and then the same thing ‘Night Shadow’ has.
crap, i DONT have the same problem as NightShadow. Here is MY issue. this message box pops up and looks just the same as Night Shadows problem. it’s in the same format, but different contents.

My problem is that when I start the game after the introductory video, asks me to enter the game CD. I copy the crack to the installation folder so… i don’t know what it happens.

Alright, I realized that I was accidentally trying to install the /crack folder to the original beyond earth installation instead of the rising tide addon. I got that fixed and I then got a ‘missing mss32.dll’ error, so I downloaded a ‘mss32.dll’ file and put it in the rising tides installation folder and NOW I get a:
“The procedure entry point_AIL_set_sample_3D_cone@16 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll.”
I have no friggin clue what to do at this point…

i have the same problem as nightshadow…
I found the problem I expect most people are having. The installation of civbe RT puts another folder of the same name as the game folder within it. This is where all the rising tide game files are. Take that folder out and copy all the files into the original BE folder the re paste the crack and the game will run. cheers!

Yep same problem as NightShadow and Cosmio. I get the unhandled exception right after the loading screen before menu… I’ve been looking online but still cant figure it out. Help?
Well i figured out why it was happening to me. Beyond Earth was installed in C:\Program Files (x86) while the Rising Tide expansion was installing into the C:\Program Files which is different. I dont know if that will be the same problem for anyone else but if it is make sure you install it into the same directory that Beyond Earth is already installed into!
I solved my issues(i think, lol). hrmm.. , I was installing the addon AFTER installing the original game but apparently on my PC, the original game wanted to install in
C:/program files (x86)
and the addon wanted to install in
C:/program files
I’ve never had an addon do that to me before and that’s what threw me off. for anyone else having issues,
MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THE ADDON INTO THE EXACT SAME FILE DESTINATION AS THE ORIGINAL GAME.
I have able to fix my mss32.dll, bink2w32 and d3dcompiler_46.dll. I tried copying all .dll in the (C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth) and paste it on the (C:\Program Files\Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth) and it works don’t know why.

I have solved the problem for my self
i figured that after the expansion installation, there is 2 folder of civilization BE
that is :
1. X:\Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth ( this is the folder when you installed the BE)
2. X:\Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth\Sid Meiers Civilization Beyond Earth ( this folder created by the rising tide exp, inside the Civ BE Folder, and its total size is about 6 GB)
I figured that the 2nd folder is 6GB is the same as the requirement size for the RT expansion, and it have some of exact sub-folder with the Civ BE.
So i tried to cut 2nd folder and overwriting to the 1st folder,,,
and tadaaa, the mss32.dll and the unhandled bla..bla..bla.. error now is gone, and the game is normally work

for those who are having the problems (other than NightShadow), You are probably trying to install the expansion in the same folder as the base game, you shouldn’t do that. Instead install it in a different folder, but after that I also get the same error as NightShadow so i donno how to fix it.
I tryed with no anti virus but still the same isseu. I reïnstalled the game redownload the game but still problem with mss32. dll

How I can change the languege to russian? When I changed languege parameters in file Config.ini and launch thr game, all settings are set as detault. Help pls!
I had the issue with all the dll files, all you have to do is download all the files it tells you are missing and put them in the game folder. I’m also getting the same issue with the unhandled exception stuff, I’m using windows 10 and I know occasionally things don’t work the same so maybe that’s the cause but if anyone finds a way to get it to work please post how you did it.

I figured it out! You have to install the base file which is posted in the description but don’t install the update file. after that you install rising tides one into the base file’s location because it normally tries to install it somewhere else it.
what is the original game for this expansion ??

i found what was the problem, like some said that it installed in the wrong Dir.
So i deleted everything from the original game and reïnstalled it with directx update and the redist, after that i installed the update and after that the new expansion, then i aplied the crack from the expansion and then it worked but you really need to instal the directx updates and redist updates. I just did the rapairs from the redist and then it works.
What i also did was delete every saved game from the original game.
Hope it helps for you guys

I have installed the original reloaded version of beyond earth, I have then installed the rising tide addon into the same folder as the original game install and for some reason when I double click on the exe nothing happens. No error message – nothing. I have read through all the comments here and no one seems to be having this problem.

i downloaded it at fitcher and my game wx pc says TR/Barys.299008.3 Trojaner in the setup.exe scnned with Antivir and Bitdefender.

If you’re too dumb to follow simple written instructions, just buy the game.
All experiencing ms32dll problem.
Be sure both base game and addon are installed in the same directory.
Got the same issue, then I noticed that my base game is in Program Files (x84) and addon in Program Files directory.
Windows 8.1, but I am pretty sure that at windows 10 origin of that problem may be as same as in my case.
If you got addon in different directory than your base game simply copy addon files and move it to your base game directory.
Worked for me.

install the original CIV BE, then install the RT in a different folder than the original CIV BE, then
copy the Rising tide folder(all of it’s contents) to the original CIV BE folder
problem encountered BEFORE copying the RT folder to BE folder:
