     men would train their wives so when they were gone to protect the homestead but they didn’t go out and fight battles like real samurai despite what idiots claim.

   Female samurai only carried the short sword, no long sword for them.

   Fun fact: If a samurai was ordered to commit seppuku by their liege-lord, the male would kneel & disembowel himself with his short sword. A female had to cut her own throat.

   Pretty good incentive not to fuck up, huh.

   people getting mad over fiction, like isnt the whole point of fiction so that you can do things different from reality. this game never claimed to be historically accurate and idk why yall expected it to be.
