Honestly i had no problems so far and if there are no problems with the base game i will just play through without patches and upgrades.
Big majority of games worked flawless for me i cant even remember now a case to name where a game was not running and or badly and i needed the patch. Saves yourself alot time to never patch as long it runs.
Can we get just the update? Downloading 150gb each time is a little much

the problem is, this game doesn’t save, this patch is not working, save is dead, i was enjoying the play no lag, but the save is gone forever, even manual saves.
its not gone, just move the save file from steam folder to gog folder in C:\Users\%user\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved

That installer tries to extract all that bin images on my C drive temp folder that has not enough free space before copying the extracted material to the installation folder on D.. what could be the workaround? i dont see much options:
1. manual extraction to a disk / folder
2. change temp folder but how
