    Dev here!

I actually surprised that my game got cracked this fast, not that I had strong DRM, but… wow. 14 months of work on my own and it got cracked in 10 minutes.

steam DRM is worthless, bypassed by a simple api dll replacement, if your game is good people will buy it, use it for your portfolio and join a studio or recruit people for another project, good luck

For Christ sake man, you actually put a DRM in this shit. You should be proud someone put an effort and spent time cracking it.

steam automatically adds their own DRM, not mine

I’m sorry for your work, but if I try a game and it’s good, i really buy them after ( sometimes even after finished them like death stranding and some others) but please, an other walking simulator, I would probably not be abble to do the same, but, theses kind of game pop every days. good luck for you, but theses kind of game don’t have any soul.

Just tell yourself that those who like your work will buy it.
And that those who cannot appreciate your work due to lack of budget will talk about it, and appreciate it.
Nobody really loses. “Piracy” gives visibility

dude believe it or not no one would of probably even known about your game if it wasnt for this site. I think the majority will buy it if they really enjoy it and those who don’t were never gonna buy it anyways. I’m not kidding you’ll get more exposure and sales then you would if this wasnt posted here. just my 2 cents

It’s true, if a game is good, I will buy it. I’ve tried many games from this site, and I rarely like them, but when I do, I always buy them. If it is a small developer or company, I don’t wait for a sale, but for big ones, I will wait two years tops. I don’t have a big budget to buy every game, so I prioritize who needs money sooner than later. I love Bethesda’s old games. I tried Starfield for 1 hour and didn’t like it, so I deleted it and never turned back.
