     If you have some crash when you select Leon or Claire,

     you need to do this :
     go to the game installation directory

     El juego funciona perfecto , para los que tengan el fallo de que el juego salta al escritorio cuando estas en el menú o al intentra iniciar el juego ( me paso una vez) solo deja que el juego cree los archivos de guardado, cuando crashee vuelve a iniciarlo ( como administrador) y ahora ya deberia funcionar, por supuesto no hace falta decir que deben de tener instalada la ultima versión de Visual Basic++ 2017 así como instalar los archivos DirectX que hay dentro de la carpeta donde se instalo el juego, tambien deben actualizar los drivers de la grafica con soporte pa R Evil2, no recomiendo a nadie usar el DX12 por que yo tengo el juego original y despues de hacer cientos de test funciona peor ( hay mas caidas de frames) que con DX11, recomendable jugarlo con mando. MI unico problema ahora es que intento pasar mis partidas del juego original ( tengo muchas cosas desbloqueadas pero no los dlcs) a las de este juego ( en users data,codex, etc. pero no me las reconoce, con RE7 me pasaba igual, ¿alguien sabe alguna manera de que funcionen los saves???

     Hello, i’ve downloaded it but i can’t install the game.
     The installer crash and i have a window with ISDone.dll and a cross inside, i can just click OK and the installer just ask to retry.

     Guys, game is working fine. However, my Antivirus is telling me the re2.exe file has a Trojan in it named packed.vmpbad!gen46.
     What do you guys make of this? Usually cracks are false positives but this time, this kinda sounds like something that shouldn’t be in the exe file.

     Packed.Vmpbad!gen46 kinda sounds malicious. Is this a false positive? Just something to bypass the game protection or something? Should we be worried? Any more info would be appreciated, this is the first time I’ve encountered a file of this nature. Usually cracks get flagged by Antivirus programs, but none of the ones I used ever had this kind of file in them..

     It boots, I see the Capcom logo, and then the first settings screen (choosing language and stuff)… can*t do anything, keyboard not working, controller not working, and the cursor is rapidly going from bottom to top through the options (as if someone would hold the analog stick up constantly).

     Hey Guys
     For those who have black screnn problems, i was having the same and not the game running good

     Saw this tips in other site, and now works fine.

     1.Installed the game
     2.Installed VC redist found in the game folder
     3.installed DX found in the game folder
     4.Installed latest drivers for my Grpahics Card
     5.Applied crack files and blocked all inbound and outbound communication for .exe file

     I did de steps 1,2,3,4 and then paste the crack and it works.
     Hope that help more ppl.

     The game works fine, but the cracked re2.exe file has this supposed Trojan in it : packed.vmpbad!gen46

     I know about false positives, a lot if cracks are misrepresented as viruses thru Antivirus programs. But this file sure as hell seems shady.

     Anyone knows anything about this type of file? Should we be worried? This isn’t just your typical steam.api.dll. The name of the file sounds very shady.

     Googling the name of it doesn’t really give you much info. Can the crack be trusted?

     it worked in the first run, by the way, just after copying whats inside CODEX folder and replace, it just works without problem

     Thanks for the upload, I’ve been playing it for hours now and so far no problems for me. I’m just using i7 4th gen, GTX 970, and 16gb ram and I can play it without lags or crashes, the only issue is that it takes time to run once you open it, other than that it is a solid realease.      The game is working BUT if you alt+tab just once, and go back in the game, then it’s broken…

     I think I’ve found the fix for that \o/

     1 – Go to the game directory, then open the ini file steam_emu.ini
     2 – Change Overlays=1 to Overlays=0
     3 – Change Offline=0 to Offline=1

     Now I can alt+tab, and go back into the game and continue playing !

     I’m giving up. I uninstalled it. Thanks for the effort, but it just doesn’t work. It doesn’t recognize any input from my controller (which worked fine with the RE2 demo on Steam), and my keyboard doesn’t work at all (except Alt+F4). Not even the Windows on-screen keyboard is being registered. How do you even break something like that.

     Hello, sorry for my english.

     I ve found a posible solution for the black screen/close when starting the game.

     This is what i’ve done so far

     Installed direct x + Net Framework + updated drivers + updated windows + edited .ini files
     Tried that on CODEX version and FULL.ULOCKED.

     Didn’t work

     What worked for me was to end Nahimic process inside program manager then run the game.

     Hope this helps.

     I Found a Fix for black screen!!! the only way RE2 will start up u must have a controller enable on ur PC then RE2 will start up and work fine… if controller is not on it will not start up… Game On!!!

     Okay for everyone asking for the Black Screen Solution here it is:

     You have to have a controller connected!

     Nothing complicated its just that. You need a controller to play the game. Maybe a Update further along the lines which will stop that but thats the case. From what I can tell you need a controller what the computer can detect without using 3rd party Input devices Aka Ps4 controller

     For those who have difficulties to run the game. If you have a Black Screen and then, shutting off after 5 or 10 sec :

     -Go to the Bios
     -Disable the Virtualization
     -restart

     This must work for the unlocked version and the Codex version as well.

     -Can’t “continue” during the setting selection (Just plugin a Controller and you’ll be good to go)

     Found a solution for the keyboard issue. Install the DirectX under folder Resident Evil 2\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010 and then uplug all your Joystick, gamepad and etc before open up the game.

     As far as vpn’s go, free ones don’t really work. You need a paid VPN. Some good ones are nordvpn, as well as a few others. Google ‘best VPNs’ and see what you find.

     Who is facing back screen maybe your file is corrupted. My .ISO mounted the first time, I installed it without any problem, however the black screen always appeared. So I upgraded my win10 to version 1809 and the problem continued. After that I uninstalled the game.
     So only after this I discovery the reason of my issue.
     Everytime that I’d tried to install the installation crashed after a long time, and before this in a giving moment the progress percentage always stopped in the same point (my HD and processor went to 100% during 30 min), and after this the game crashed, so I tried to find any error in the HD, defrag and nothing helped, so I tried to copy the .iso file and and the coping process always crashed in the same copy with the same issue of the installation.
     So re-download and everything is fine!
     Try it, if you are still facing Black scree.

     Bonjour à tous. Un très grand merci pour cette version. Fonctionne parfaitement, aucun problème de black screen, aucun problème de controle, langue FR et autres nikel.

     Je rencontre par contre un gros souci de sauvegarde. La sauvegarde auto ainsi que la sauvegarde via les rubans encreur ne fonctionne pas. Donc impossible de reprendre le jeu quand on s’arrête. A chaque fois que je lance le jeu il m’indique que la sauvegarde est impossible.

     Avez-vous une solution pour régler ce problème de sauvegarde. J’ai chercher partout et je ne trouve rien.
