Follow the instruction. Copy the exe provided to your game install directory. Then update, and make sure to choose the correct installation path you install, which in my case is D:\Games\Palworld.v0.1.3.0HotFix.EarlyAccess\Palworld. Last step is to copy/paste the crack. Note that this is only work for v0.1.3.0.Hotfix, not v0.1.3.0. I did mine and it works just fine. Thanks to Steven

I was on 0.1.3.0 and looked for your comment on 0.1.3.0 Hotfix.
After upgrading from 01.3.0 -> 0.1.3.0 Hotfix I then downloaded this file and was able to upgrade from 0.1.3.0 Hotfix -> 0.1.4.0
I can still connect to servers without any of the weird online-fix stuff for now.

GUYS REMEMBER the UPDATE from @Steven, is for “v0.1.3.0.HotFix to v0.1.4.0”, Not “v0.1.3.0 To v0.1.4.0”, You need the v0.1.3.0.HotFix. Not v1.0.3.0
Plus you must copy Original EXE, then install Update

what is copy original exe mean? for backup?
Original EXE mean, not cracked EXE. for exemple if you are playing Early Access (cracked version). the creator of update only, he created the updated based in his legit game files (which obviously not cracked one including EXE). so in rar file you will see 1- Original EXE, mean in order to use 2- Update (to install it), you need first to copy the (1-Original EXE) to your game folder and accepte replace, then go back and install 2-Update.
after Update is finished, copy (3-Crack) files (which inclu new 0.1.4.0 cracked EXE) to your game folder

yo steven i updated from 1.3 to 1.4 i followed the instructions and it says valid version detected but when i start the update a pop up says Error: In the chosen directory required files for patching do not exist or do not match expected hash.
[!] Fix this problem and then try to apply the Patch again.
also something about check original files in selected dir
and when i close the popup a new one says that rollback was applied to delete the new files and now when i open the game it says failed to open descriptor file ../../../pal/pal.unproject

@floshii: Ofc it will not find EXE, beccause update need original EXE to start updating your game, which inclu in update rar file. you must copy it (Original EXE) first, then install update, then copy crack files, all those files are inside rar file shared by @Hanzo & @Steven.
Otherwhise to avoid all this things, download full updated game above.

Guys for those that having File Hash mismatch, copy the .exe file from folder 1. Dont copy the folder to root, copy the .exe file itself and replace the .exe file instead. It works for me.

or if you have old update you use it. go to crack file of that update or the full old game you where using, and use it’s crack (not EXE), just others crack files (/Engine). and use cracked EXE of v0.1.4.0 only

Transfer Game Saves (Refer to the spoiler up above to figure out your SteamID):
I created another world, but before a made a back up of the one I had. The Steam ID of the new one is different, so I just copied the contents on that one instead. But contents I mean the folders and .sav files, and replaced it with the ones created with the new world, it voilá.
Your saves for local worlds can be found here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames
“I simply copy pasted the content of /Pal/Saved/SaveGames/GoldbergSteamID/ -> /Pal/Saved/SaveGames/RealSteamID/ and kept on playing… make sure you create a savefile first with your real steam id to replace, if you do not know your steamid already, in which case you just replace the old steamid foldername with your real steamid”
What do you mean create a save file?
“Start up the game in steam, create your world, then hit escape & exit to main menu
this will auto create the save file, then exit game. then you just copy your cracked save into the folder of your real steam id save folder.”

Here is a guide I wrote which would be highly helpful for anyone here in regards to your steam name in-game and steamid in-game:::
Go to Palword\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv153\Win64\steam_settings\
In `force_account_name.txt` put whatever name you want. If it doesn’t exist, create it in steam_settings folder. Create the txt.
In `force_steamid.txt` put your real steamID. If it doesn’t exist, create it in steam_settings folder. Create the txt.
Note 1: If you use the same SteamID as another person (such as the default one), you won’t be able to join the same server. You must change it.
Note 2: Game saves are tied to your steam ID (as are many other Steam games). If you ever buy the game legit because you want to – and – want to resume your progress. It must use the same SteamID (Both forced and real should match). **HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO USE YOUR REAL STEAMID.**
Note 3: yes you can use a fake SteamID too. *Use this option if you plan to never buy the game*

Game save location is here for windows: %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Pal/Saved/SaveGames/{STEAMID}
Your save from your old installation should be in the folder under the steam ID that was used, it isn’t showing up for the new version because your SteamID is now different more than likely, so you either need to change it back to the old (if it was using RUNE crack find save location and SteamID might be in there I’m not too sure, sorry) one or start over AFAIK

Open the old folder and the copy the contents to the new folder. (example: backup,players,level.sav,levelmeta.sav and etc)

How to change language:
Go to the following route:
\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv153\Win64\steam_settings
Inside that last folder (steam_settings) create a text file called force_language.txt
Open the newly created txt file (force_language), type “es” (without the quotes) and save the changes.
When you start it will start in Spanish.
en = English
es = Spanish
de = Germany
fr = France
etc…….

Palworld.v0.1.4.0.Early.Access of 19gb and save the SaveGames file and create a new game with the same name and already created, just delete its contents from this folder C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Pal \Saved\SaveGames\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX You already copy what you saved the SaveGames file but you only copy the backup/Players file and more things that are in the folder and do not delete the new folder that you created and that’s it, this worked for me, not the other thing that they put
You guys are just bad at following directions. I updated from 1.2 to 1.4 on a steam deck Linux which require extra steps. I was able to successfully update with no issues. Maybe those who can’t figure it out should be the ones actually buying the game instead of trynna pirate.

I have specific question that I’m hoping someone has the answer to, if it’s even possible. I rented a server for me and a few friends to play, but 3 of us are using this RUNE cracked version of the game. Whenever they join the server, the game recognizes them as my character, leading to us all playing the same character simultaneously. We’ve tried changing the steamid & username in the steam.emu file to our actual info, but we still join the server as the same character.
Any help is greatly appriciated
So, I downloaded the full 19 GB game (v0.1.4.0).
There are 3 folders inside: Crack, Palworld and Steam.
The instructions say:

Nothing else.
However, when I run the game from the “Palworld” folder, I get a “no licenses” error on Steam.
Am I missing any steps?
I am talking about the game provided in the original post and not the update provided by Steven.
