    Downloaded tested , first crash at main screen had no mouse input or keyboard control, fixed that one, by using another controller.vdf from another game.
    now it passed the main screen, shows gamma settings and the first 2 intro vids and then total crash of the game, no popup,no messages,no mentioning in the loggings,nothing just dissapears, and desktop is back..
    For me it’s not working, on win10 x64, amd 8core 16 gb ram, nv 1080ti 8gb vram.
    Ps checked ali213 chinese website there is a mentioning that this is a beta version that does not work anymore, but then again the translation might be wrong.
    Can someone confirm this??

    2- if u want to change language open: cream_api.ini (in OTWD\Binaries\Win64) and change it
    3- Then click OTWD-Win64-Shipping
    4- Invit ur friend and Enjooooy

    Edit: i found how to play without inviting friends

    when u choose map (GEORGETOWN CAMP), dont press START, check boutton right corner click ur account picture (steam) inside game, then u will get MANAGE TEAM change setting from PUBLIC to PRIVATE then go back and start!

    Enjoooooooy

    I thought State of Decay 2 was shyte too in all honesty, although better than this i admit.
    The only Zombie game i properly enjoyed was (other than RES7) Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition, it’s got great single player mode which i value, i just love the atmosphere of that game, my opinion nothing has come close to beating it yet, and Dying Light 2 is in development, as long as it ain’t all this forced co-op online shit that EVERY FUCKING GAME SEEMS TO BE DOING LATELY!! Im sick of it, and sick of all these failed zombie games, OVERKILL’s has just put the nail in the coffin for me and zombies, no more for me untill Dying Light 2.

    This game is ok for free, thats about it sadly

    It is not advisable to use a steam account to play a cracked game, be warned, steam blocks users on hardware id’s and ip numbers,if they find out you using a cracked version(non payed version).
    You risk losing steam connection and getting blocked by ip adres, the result is you needing to buy another pc, and get a different internet service provider and losing all your games you have bought over the years..
    I personally would not take that risk, would you?

    Yea i agree with Rex… playing a cracked game with an online steam account is a horrible idea.. I can confirm it does work… Hard mode (steven) directions are correct.

    But im not touching it again with a ten foot pole…

    It works if you deactivate the firewall of the exe. My frist try was a failure. The game kicked me out just before the game starts. I don´t not start it with steam

    fred you really don’t get it, i don’t work for them(never did), i’m te opposite of them in many ways..
    Lets not compare years of pirating games, it wil make you blush.

    I just wanted to give a fair warning to never use a online account for cracked games.
    I gave a number of reasons why not to, what everyone else does with that advice is up to them.

    Yes i can also confirm it works with steam, but with extreme caution, fake steam account, hardware id changer,vpn tunnels and ip maskers, and still at risk, Just take the advice, don’t do it.

    If you guys have a problem with the language just go to cream_api.ini then change it to English you should be fine.

    And I think you can play Online because my steam is linked to it.

    To make this game run with smartsteamemu.
    Download smartsteam latest version here https://forum.csmania.ru/viewtopic.php?t=43662

    extract it to OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead folder .
    go to the OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead folder and right click sselauncher, go to properties,compatibility option tab, select run as admin, press ok, so you allways run it as admin.
    run SSELauncher select yes off course, open the folder OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead\OTWD\Binaries\Win64
    Drag and drop OTWD-Win64-Shipping.exe to the SSELauncher window, a settings window will open.
    In the sselauncher settings window all patths should be correct so no changes there, copy this game id 717690 and paste it to the game app id in sselauncher settings, select the options inject smartsteamemu and use x64 launcher.
    Press save, and everytime you want to run the game you need run sselauncher and then start the game by double click on the game icon in sselauncher window .
    Aditionaly you can change a number of settings in the settings of the game, advisable to go to the emulator settings tab and change steam id to static, and select name as computer name, other wise it would select your original steam account(not advisable).
    if you want to add your own ip adress or play solo you can change teh network settings change network settings to custom, and add either your own ipadres or when going solo add 127.0.0.1 and save.
    Any other options in sselauncher is up to your own personal preference!
    Hope it helps.
