   @Joshua Because antagonizing people into a debate is sometimes fun. Crucial even.

   Can you imagine what would this comment section be if nobody disagreed every once in a while and everyone would just grunt affirmatively and post +1 and then that’s it. Or if nobody ever thought “hang on, what’s up with that” but instead everyone would blindly believe what other people say to be true and never doubt them for a second. Can you imagine what sort of braindead species would we become if that were the case?

   Disagreeing with something is human and debates/arguments are a vital part of the process.

    Everyone’s has the right to say their own opinion.

    I don’t like fish, but the majority does, am I forced into liking it because the “majority” thinks it’s good?
