@Drakhor No, it’s been explained with every update/patch here that you can simply make the torrent download in your excisting folder. This way it will simply check which files are alrdy there and will only download the new files required. From the first version on you never had to download everything allover again, just invest a few min actual reading…there are always people here willing to help out

The torrent fix to download only the newest part doesn’t work for me.. It either crashes uTorrent or overwrites all the damn game… Any clue about this?
A: because utorrent can’t support torrent file with big size (+2mb), try “Delug” better.

Jesus, people will find less negative vibe in therapy than here when kids are complaining for every little thing about games. It’s game, it needs to be polished, fixed, like every other game. So stop complaining and go play Minecraft. Every good game needs time and patient to be made in masterpiece.
Game crashed at start. How to fix it ?
The release runs just fine, with mods too. You need to unblock all .exe and .dll files. You can do it manually in file properties or use a powershell tool. Google it if you don’t know what I mean.

Instead of YOUR_PATH, type yours, like : C\Games\

hey guys you know how to start the game since when I use the native exe or launcher exe nothing happen
Go to the Win64-Shipping_Client folder, there you gonna find Bannerlord.Native.exe
For everyone having Launcher issues, it is very easy to fix the problem, what I did and it works is go to D: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, once inside the folder search folder Professional 1 for 1 files with the Properties option, and all those with Unlock, tick and apply, will take a while but it works.
update 4.1.1 doesn’t work for me
The game does not open
Too easy
First: go to D: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mount & Blade II Bannerlord.
Second: open one by one all the folders, bin, Data, GUI and Modules.
Third: When you are in a sub-folder already mentioned above, select a file, right-click and select properties, and just then, you should set an option that says Unlock, check the option and Apply.
So in each and every subfolder, it will take a while, but it is the only way the Launcher works for me.

There have been three hotfixes since the e1.4.1 release. Any chance we could get the updates?
This is my 3rd Update I tried to download and play. Only 1 of the 3 worked for me. I am grateful for your work but I tried many of the advices in the comment section but it still crashes. I am not new to workarounds. And most of the stuff I downloaded here worked but with Bannerlord I got issues enjoying or launching the game after 1.3.1 since the Updates don’t work for me, even if I download the complete new versions and follow the advices from the comments.

I have been playing on 1.4.1 with mods for quite some time, now I am gonna share how I did it.
I decompiled the launcher .exe and found a way to start the game with mods.
First off, create a bat file, put the following contents in
cd “C:\PATH_TO_YOUR_GAME_DIR\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client\”
Bannerlord.Native.exe /singleplayer
_MODULES_
*Native*SandBoxCore*CustomBattle*Sandbox*StoryMode*YourModuleNameHere*AnotherOfYourModuleNameHere*
_MODULES_
Basically, you add an asterisk * followed by the name of the mods that you want
*YourModuleNameHere
^ that is 1 mod to load
If you don’t know what the mod name is, go into the mod folder that you downloaded, open SubModule.xml, you will see something like
whatever is between the ” “, that is the mod name
Here is an example

no chance of a hotfix ? tried the powershell , tried several other methods mentioned here , cant open the launcher therefore cant play or use any mods , only native works
The only method that works is that of Trebol, if you are not even able to follow the steps it takes, it is not worth it to keep trying to explain how it is arranged, buy the game and stop crying.

Just because it works for you doesn’t mean it works for everyone else some fixes work for some others for others , I have tried that the files just go back to being blocked and on previous versions I had zero problems , I do intend to buy the game and support the developers not at this stage however , you giving me shit when you can’t even spell Trevor , I asked politley for a hotfix like the earlier versions had you coming in and acting like a dutche doesn’t contribute anything to anybody either , so stop being a troll and either help those in comments or keep your condescending remarks to yourself . DOWNLOAD 1.4 HOTFIX ANS 1.4 HOTFIX2
LOOK AT THE FILES CONTAINED IN 1.4HOTFIX
NOW FIND THE SAME FILES IN YOUR GAME DIRECTORY
CUT AND PASTE ON YOUR DESKTOP ( FOR EXAMPLE ) TO FIND THEM IF THERE IS A PROBLEM
THEN MAKE A COPY PASTE 1.4 HOTFIX THEN 1.4HOTFIX2 INTO YOUR GAME DIRECTORY
HERE YOU CAN AGAIN INSTALL MODS AND ACTIVATE THEM FROM THE LAUNCHER 😉
Here’s another method to get mods and game to work:
First off, bannerlord.exe doesn’t work for me and neither does the launcher provided for mods.
No matter what i do nor how many files I unblock, the launcher crashes and so does bannerlord.exe
So, I use Bannerlord.Native.exe to launch the base game – if it crashes for you anyway check the details of the crash. If the “Faulting Module” is RGL.dll, you might want to update your OS (a friend’s copy of bannerlord wouldn’t run on the same version of win7 that I have and RGL.dll was constantly crashing his game, so i installed Win 10 on another hard drive for him and it worked right off the bat, after installing required GPU drivers etc. Presumably, I updated SOMETHING on my Win7 that he didn’t).
If it is something else, find that file in your bannerlord download folder and try unblocking it (right click>Properties>Unblock>Apply>OK) and try running Bannerlord.Native.exe again.
Try unblocking all files with PowerShell as mentioned somewhere before. I didn’t have to, but I’m still running Win 7 Ultimate, and you might not.
If you CAN’T run the base game with the steps described above then I’m sorry but I can’t help you.
If you CAN run the base game, read on!
Now, onto the mods:
First, go to nexusmods.com and create an account. This is required to get a different Launcher.
I’ve tried multiple different launchers, some of those from sites other than nexusmods, but only the single one worked, all the others crashed

You will have to point it to the base directory (that’s the folder that contains “Bin”, “Modules” and other folders) and in the Launcher’s settings you have to change the exe to use to Bannerlord.Native.exe.
If you did everything right, you should be good to go!
Try running the game with this mod (you HAVE TO do the manual install, just drop the contents of zip file into Bannerlord’s “Module” folder):

Here’s a variation if you have to use a different launcher (It wont work with the launcher provided with this release):
None of the other launchers have the option of switching the exe they use, but you can delete the default bannerlord.exe (if it won’t run, you don’t need it) and make a copy of Bannerlord.Native.exe and simply rename it to “Bannerlord.exe”. Launchers search for the exe by file name, they dont check which one it is.
If you don’t see the .exe extension and that confuses you, google how to unhide extensions for known file types on your OS.
Game runs at 25-45 FPS on my hardware, battle size 300, graphic settings mostly Medium and High, with the exception of texures which have to be low due to me having just 2GB of VRAM.
Specs:
CPU: AMD A10-6800K (4 cores @4.3GHz)
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB, drivers 445.75
The game runs off a 7800RPM SATA HDD, so i imagine it’d run better from an SSD
As you can see, i barely meet the minimum specs. The game has some bugs and plenty of unfinished content, but certainly isn’t the buggy hell that some AAA “full” releases are. Mods fix most bugs and perks that arent yet implemented in the base game. All in all, a very enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations. But i had to work for it, setting everything up xD

run Windows Powershell as admin and type in the command above while changing the path of your own folder. Have fun.

If you can’t change file it’s because it’s set to Read Only in folders, uncheck that before trying to unblock it. Then use tip from wknd above and it works.
Guys, I made a mistake by directly downloading the 1.4.1 version. Then I downloaded 1.4.0 :/ and now I am downloading 1.0.0. I will also download the others one by one. I let the torrent check the folder and install the different ones. So my question is that would it be still playable if I downloaded them in this way? or Did I screw everything and should delete and install them starting from the beginning? and the last thing, I don’t see anything to extract in these folders. Is it normal?

hey when i reach the start menu the textures is glitchy theres a big green square showing on the middle of the screen and its very default . and got this crash error :
