How would the game start? First starting Steam VR? And then the executable?
Usually any game with open_VR.dll / open_XR.dll in their directory will attempt to start SteamVR while executing the game.exe (or tunnle directly Virtual Desktop’s native “VDXR” runtime without using SteamVR, which is more often better, in terms of stability, laggyness, choppyness and so on).

It’s a shame it’s only a VR game and VR headsets are fucking expensive.
300 Bucks for a VR headset is nothing (Quest 3S or what its called).
Compared to some piece of shit hardwares being sold for +1000 bucks for more than 5 years by now (yeah, I am talking about the inferior valve index), or some people word-buzzing the crap out of their wanna be “open source” headsets like the crypto-bros with their crappy Somnium VR1, which goes for 1900 bucks WITHOUT anything to it, no controllers, no mic, regular LCD panels and so on.
And before people come over here and talk shit about “Ew, Meta, you Meta fanboi”: You heard about IP blocking? Redirecting TCPs back to your own machine? Or simply using your bloody firewall/filter of your router and blocking all IP addresses in association with Meta, so your data stays where it should belong to (your own domain)?
Yea, there you go. I was and still am someone who is against Meta and their bs (despite their hardware, and sometimes software, being quite solid), especially when world wide people got force-logged out from their headsets, due to being simply connected to the internet and receiving a faulty/corrupt prompt/command from the Meta servers, while me standing and sitting their and enjoying my games without any issues due to blocking every back-phoning.
Ebay has a bunch of headsets under 100 bucks that work great. i suggest the odyssey + it has a really nice fov and a nice rez. i just got one for 55$ with controllers.you can also modify it for a bigger fov.
VR HEADSETS ARE CHEAP NOW. don’t buy that over priced junk like what this guy is saying for +1000. hes 10000% right about it being over priced garbage for the $$ you have to spend

Anyone able to get this working on the quest 3? I cant get it to conenct but every other game works fine for me, even vr porn.
I provided steps but they keep removing my comments.
I never be able to do some skirow vr games on my quest 3, I add the game on steam, launch it and i have only a screen on steam vr, no 360° and controllers are not recognized … Help

Broken for VR. Binding not working because the game won’t load up in STEAM VR. stuck on accept to play screen
The only way i managed to get it to work was by running virtual desktop streamer and connecting to that through the oculus virtual desktop app, then launching steam VR, then accessing the desktop from there and running the game exe. However, there are graphical issues there but its playable.
I was hoping someone here would provide steps to make it run like anormal VR game as the provided steps dont work.
VR games is sucks. How many sales? all the VR games sales are didn’t sold up to 100k. These developers should know the past VR game sales. But they do the same mistake again and again. Stupid or Idiot? You name it.

If anyone is having trouble running the game—such as the game getting stuck on the loading screen, shaking excessively when moving your head, or similar issues—you need to disable the OpenXR toolkit to fix it. This was driving me crazy!
