   The game opens, but when you choose the language, the game does not advance, only the animation of the boat remains and nothing else. Does anyone know why?

   My bad, the game is working fine but u have to extract game folder in your dd racine like :
   C:\Merchant.of.the.Skies-SiMPLEX
   And it should work

   really nice easy going game, with exploration, trading and rpg elements, well worth supporting the dev on steam
