    Use the smartsteamloaderx64.exe to play the game.

    Make sure you copy the your save files from the old profile to the new one in Documents\Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered if you want to use your previous save.

    It works fine, guys copy Update files inside your game folder (accepte replace), then copy crack files and run the game using “SmartSteamLoader_x64.exe”

    Have fun, if you want to keep using old crack, if u still have FLT release iso file, use that crack only.

    THIS UPDATE IS TERRIBLE BEFORE THIS UPDATE ENABLING RTX RESULTED IN A CRASH
    AFTER THIS UPDATE THE RAYTRACING SETTING IS DISABLED AND I CANT EVEN CHANGE ANYTHING

    this absolutely destroyed the game … can’t play it, menu glitches now, graphics not displaying properly, and spiderman falls through the floor… this updfate is the worse update i’ve ever installed for a game. EVER. even my controls don’t work any more hahaha brilliant!

    Controllers are not working correctly with this update, as lollo stated. I reverted back to the previous files.

    I would suggest to anyone downloading, backup your “original” cracked files, prior to applying the update.

    I found this update earlier and it said dont use the files in the crack folder just copy across the 2 files in the update folder that is what i dome and now get an extra 10+ fps and it looks sharper and no issues of yet.

    Update is usable but you gonna need to change de .ini file to match the same path of the game files (the default is trying to hook AoE III)

    Also, any language pack except english isn’t working, you gonna lost the hability to change that since the flt crack is supressed by the smarsteamloader

    Yes, It broke my CRACK!.
    Step 1 : I copied the update files to game path
    Step 2 : I copied the crack files to the game path
    Step 3 : I ran smartsteamloader_x64
    Step 4 : Unable to launch game. Make sure the ‘Target’ and ‘Startin’ folder point to correct path and folder.

    Hence it broke my game

    HI, just apply the 2 update files, don’t use the crack, keep the FL files cracked, it will update and you won’t lose your progress.
    suggestion; still the game is pretty unstable with ray tracing; but if you want to gain pretty stability when playing with it, the solution I found is to play it at 50hrz refresh rate, until a decent patch comes out, so I’m playing with everything on high, textures in very high, 16x anisotropic, hbao+, rt object range 7, no dynamic resolution scaling, no dlss, and without frame drops.

    I have an i7 10700f, an rtx 3060 ti with 8gb and 32gb of ddr4 ram

    About the save game check your “Documents folder” and move your old save game to your new folder that created there

    About the update, just copied the Update folder to main game folder.

    Preformence are great at 4K max Settings, for now not even crashed, working smoothly .

    you can use the FLT Crack.

    For change language voice, what worked for me was:

    1 – Downloaded language pack, im my case the brazilian (1.2 gb) and put in asset_archive folder, the file name is a00s043.br

    2 – Changed in smartsteamemu.ini:

    Target = Spider-Man.exe
    #StartIn = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age of Empires II HD
    CommandLine = -lang br

    3 – Also set in flt.ini:

    Language=brazilian

    Known issues with this update according to the official site:

    “Known Issues

    Ray-tracing options may be unavailable in the menu, even with compatible hardware.

    Ray-tracing is disabled when hardware or drivers are not compatible, or when the DirectX 12 Agility SDK is not functional. We have seen some reports of users that indicate this SDK is not working for them. We are investigating this issue.

    Some players cannot progress during the Spider-Hack Mission.

    This is a frame rate related bug that only occurs when well above 60 FPS. While we work on a fix, we have a workaround in place. Restart the latest checkpoint, go to the Graphics Menu, set the game to Exclusive Fullscreen and the Refresh Rate to 60Hz. You should now be able to progress. Afterwards you can switch back to your preferred settings.

    Some players cannot take a picture of the Empire State Building.

    Some players have reported being unable to take a photo of the Empire State Building, blocking progression. So far, we have only been able to reproduce this on Intel GPUs. Intel is investigating this issue. ”

    If you have other problems is because you F* Up your pirated game installation. I’m downloading the whole game again just to make sure all the folders are in the right place, and will just move the save files once I’m done. Stop complaining you ungratefools.

    Pra quem quiser instalar a atualização corretamente só precisa copiar os 2 arquivos na pasta Update e colar no diretório do jogo, não copiem e colem os arquivos na pasta Crack apenas ignorem.
