Maia is a colony building game set in the not-so-distant future. Your colonists make planetfall on a hostile world and you must ensure their survival and their safety, constructing their off-world habitat from almost nothing and sheltering them from a dangerous, often deadly environment.
Don’t bother with this one. Game is broken. Not even sure why devs bothered with this one. Early access is an over statement. The mechanics are so broken that even if you dont crash to console, the people just stop responding after a while.
There’s a lot of great concept here, I really wanted to like this … but the UI/UX is among the worst I’ve seen. Pop-ups over pop-ups, unreadable texts, plus the awful sound, frozen/suicidal characters, undeletable items hanging in the air.
Thanks for the context @KY, I’ll be sure to watch for updates.
Indie devs have no shame these days, and steam don’t give a fuck about quality control. RIP indie as a genre, we are living in the age of early access shit made in hope of making a few quick bucks.
There is no trying push to buy … just a simple fact, you like the game, you buy it to reward the dev team, expecting they can live from their work and make an other good game you will maybe like.
And when you buy the game the dev reward you too by adding new contents … I take for exemple “This war of mine” or “Rimworld”, i bought the game after a quick try on skidrow, cause i like it a lot, and there is always new feature each year … free stuff btw, not like big games from Activision (just an exemple among a lot of millionary companies) who sell you DLC 30€ 2 days after realeasing a 60€ game.
I don’t talk about this game, not yet DL, i will propably to try and maybe buy if it’s worth, but thanks for the few instructive comments (for exemple not yours Kruger :P)
Pardon my english, and keep doing your great job Skidrow 😉

As always, @Kruger, you add as much as you know.

FYI, this is a torrent of the alpha release. Alpha releases are usually unfinished and buggy, so take it as more of a demo.
