   If the people here keep commenting on games that they look like shit all the time, why don’t you do the logical thing and get a job and buy the games you do actually want, mind you if you don’t even like the game you can get a refund on steam so you can spend it on something else, so shut the fuck up are you all like three year olds?

   Some of these games seem kind of low-effort until I consider how little work y’all have put in to being decent humans. Or at least clever.     First of all, games aren’t being released here. It’s up to the devs what quality the game will be like and it when it will be released. The only thing you can hold this Scene responsible for is bad cracks.

    Aside from that HZD has been “released” only days ago (within 24hours) so the only lame thing here is your misplaced critics.

    I’m one of the TWO developers of this game and there are things that I want to state.
    1- Don’t expect us (two human beings) to create a game that suits your desire or expectations. There are thousands of people working in the studios that you’re expecting to see games from. Know the difference between “indie” and “triple-A.”
    2- We did not put a “little” amount of work into this project. There are more than 400 environmental and 4 character models I created for this project. Upon all of that, I managed to compose 10 songs for the initial release of the game. Just like me, my partner also worked on programming systems, fixing bugs, and developing the ENTIRE gameplay mechanics and roadmap. We have spent over 8000 hours on this project for more than 3 YEARS in total. So stop bullshitting about people’s effort if you don’t have enough courage or knowledge to create something unique and your own. You have no idea how hard it is to put all of this content together, make a sense, and apply it in a way that it will eventually make sense on screen and even get cracked by one of the most-known torrent sites.
    3- Lands of Pharaoh is an indie game, not an AAA one. If you want us to improve our production capabilities, support indie developers like us, not the piracy sites. This is the way we make a living.
    4- Lands of Pharaoh is improving every single day. We keep working on it no matter how many times people attempt to crack our game because, unlike many people here, we have legitimate supporters and they deserve the best we can provide them. See our Steam Store Page for all the improvements we’ve done in the past 1 month. Do your so-called “high-quality” games get this much revision and improvement over a short period of time?
    5- Avoid piracy and support us instead of sharing your unthoughtful and worthless opinions on how our game is.

    All them points and yet… the game is still trash… sometimes you need to discuss before you release the game and ask is it worth it put it out? If not… then bring it back, spend 3 more years on it and improve it. We play the games, so you are providing an entertainment service for us, so our desires and expectations are valid and also crucial to developement of your games! As with food at a restaurant, we expect high quality and fully cooked games.

    The prices are proportional to the workforce we’re putting in, the economical states of countries, and the quality we’re providing. But, unqualified and lazy ass people like you would still visit these sorts of sites just to pirate games instead of paying for the product they’re getting (whether the developers create a AAA or an indie game). Your expectations are too high for a game that is developed by only two people each working about 12-16 hours a day to implement a really “simple” concept that seems to people like you who put their blindfolders on, on the other side of the screen. Either way, we are on the way of becoming a grounded game dev company because there are many people out there who know about the hardships of game development and the difference between “indie” and “AAA” games. We’re not the restaurant you’re buying from, we’re the people who still sell a good product in a food cart. You can’t compare them. And by the way, our game is not trash and that’s why we’re the finalist of the biggest game development competition that’s organized in our country so far. If and when we start developing the second episode, you will wish you hadn’t done the mistake you’re doing right now. Now, you go and spend those 3 years you’re mentioning about adjusting your perspective and expectations depending on this.

    Gmae looks good for a small team graphics and gameplay-wise will definitely try it and buy it if I like good job developers pay no attention to most comments here they are always negative.
