   +3 Can’t build anything, users who bought the game on steam have this issue, however there are fixes for legitimate copy’s, switching to certain builds of the game then back again etc, But for us here it’s a pointless download as you can’t play the game at all.

   I found a work-around to the build menu bug. I followed up on JJ’s comment and tried deleting everything about the game (including appdata/localLow/lionshield) for a clean start.
   Now download an older version, extract the older version like normal and confirm that you can build. Now that you’ve confirmed that the older version works, exit the game, go to this versions rar and extract it into the game folder and just replace the files. It worked for me at least.

   The older version i downloaded was v120r4 but i don’t think it really matters, the only thing that matters is that the older game version works and replace the game files with the new one and the bug should go away.

     Great idea bro! Glad it works for you!

     Unfortunately I tried this myself and the bug still persists, I used the same older version, confirmed I could build which I could and replaced the files with this versions files as you described yet I still couldn’t build in game. Also cleared data in appdata beforehand so not sure what the problem is. Glad it works for you though and hopefully for other people here too.

    the solution is simple, install the v120R4, then download the latest version and copy only the two directories (from the new to the 120R4):
    -KingdomsAndCastles_Data
    -MonoBleedingEdge
    date will overwrite all files and the game will work

      Do you have any fix on treassure room being locked with chain over it, I am at year 23 with 100+ population and have plenty of recources and its still locked.. probably bugged .. pls help
