For those wondering why it takes so long to update even if it’s only a 20mb download : Basically to save up on download size, they only provide the “updated parts” of several game files. Which means that the installer needs to look at those 2gb+ PAK game files (there are 20 of em) and scan them one by one to apply the updated part in the right spot in the file, which, take a whole lot of time sadly, since it’s not only replace a file, rinse, repeat…..
Honestly, if you have the bandwidth, just re-download the full updated version of the game, it’s way way faster, because a tiny 900kb update file takes like 20+ mins to run, and there are a 25mb one… that I just gave up on lol
