I assumed that it was missing that phoenix file and downloaded a whole iso file from the fischier link above
you just missed a step on this part, once you have extracted the iso, there is a setup file that you need to execute, complete that and that should solve the issue. itll replace the game directory with the crack applied, cheers.

The other version uploaded on release was put out with the sentiment that you could use those files when the Empress crack hit, but from what I can tell, the crack is in the ISO and not something I can just selectively download while ignoring the other 88gb of what’d be duplicate files.

I solved it
I downloaded missing .dll files asked from the game when I was trying to launch it. And I installed them to System32 directory.
Be care to download the appropriates files by your system. At the begining I had DL 32bits .dll. And I had the error. When I downloaded 64bits .dll, that worked.
Missing files I had to download and install :
– X3DAudio1_7.dll
– XAPOFX1_5.dll
– xinput1_3.dll
Hope it’ll help

I have already bought the game at steam and the FPS is sh*it cuz had denuvo in it, and then I tried to compared to this one (cracked) and the gameplay was smooth as my rtx 3070 laptop can do, especially in sorting hat scene that very heavy to load. By the way i’m using all ultra with rtx low and dlls balance.
F*ck denuvo, drm that made game unplayable and slow ur PC.
I pre-ordered this on steam and been playing it with my 1080Ti on Ultra 1440p up to 65-90 fps without any fps drops. so either turn off the useless rtx or don’t cry.

I fixed it installing the Windows Updates I had pending (this one -> Windows 10 version 22H2).

I downloaded the torrent and it was stuck at 49.1% and it just would not go beyond that. I tried to force quit but it wouldnt work.
I then went ahead and restarted my pc and i got a message in russian saying “Wait 1 min 13”
The pc restarted and now it seems i cannot delete any of the files i downloaded onto my nvme hardrive. Furthermore it seems i cant delete ANYTHING on the drive anymore, i right click and there is no Delete option on the menu and pressing delete on my keyboard doesnt do anything either.

Il faut que tu fasses une full install avec la release du 23/02.
Si tu as simplement posé le crack sur la release non cracké ça ne fonctionne pas.
Tu refais une install complète, tu modifies le .ini en “french” et tu relance une partie, normalement ça doit fonctionner

The “Out of video memory” error in Hogwarts Legacy occurs when there is not enough virtual memory to run the game (not talking about graphics memory). This crash happens at launch, or while preparing shaders, or during starting the game after brightness setting.
Here’s how I fixed it.
1. You need to set your virtual memory (paging file) in one of your system drives (D drive in my case). Set it to at least 1.5 times your ram (as recommended by Microsoft). In my case, I set it to 24gb since I have 16gb ram. Mine was initially set to “Automatically managed by the system”.
2. In order to set your virtual memory:
a) Go to Start > Run.
b) Type sysdm.cpl and click OK.
c) In the System Properties dialog box, click the
Advanced tab.
d) Under Performance, click Settings.
e) In the Performance Options dialog box, click the
Advanced tab.
f) In the Virtual memory section, click the Change button.
g) In the ‘Paging file size for selected drive’ section,
select the Custom size option.
h) Set the Initial size (MB) and the Maximum size (MB).
Keep these two same. In my case, I set it to 24gb. So,
it’s basically 24×1024 = 24576mb
i) Click on set, then apply, then OK.
j) Restart your computer. Done!
Now, you should be able to run the game without crashing. If you get any crashes during gameplay while moving from one zone to another, set your resolution down to minimum and see if that fixes the issue. You can always increase the resolution later.
Increase your virtual memory to 8gb -12 gb

That’s the early dev version, not the final build. It’s barely classifies as the game actually being cracked, what we have is an early dev debug build. Some parts of the game require you to use console to warp to a different section or else you can’t even finish the mission for example.

4) Just after character selection
Do the following:
1) Unicode to UTF-8
2) Increase virtual memory to 1.5x
3)Appdata/Local/Pheonix/Saved. Delete “Saved” and reopen the game. Turn off all upscaling in the launch settings.
4)Make sure your windows and drivers are up to date.

This is not necessary. Most likely, some file was not downloaded correctly. Do the following, open the torrent and just delete it from the download list. Afterwards, open the torrent file again and wherever you download it, point to the folder with the previous download with everything you’ve already downloaded. Once that’s done, it will start checking the files and downloading only what’s missing. After that, test the installation again. Keep an eye on your antivirus. In some cases they prevent the download of some files.

I have bought the game and it still has a lot of issues even with the latest update. I hope empress cracks this again when a better update comes and doesn’t abandon the game as it is.
You can download the updates from that one forum and apply them actually, crack still works ok seems like, although you’ll have to reapply it since the update replaces it.

Thanks for the quick upload. I’m liking the gameplay but some of the little issues are really annoying. Can’t name character anything that an idiot would find offensive, like Shelly, because four of those letters spell “hell”. Cant pause in cutscenes/dialogue and there is no exclusive fullscreen, so the only way to change resolution is to have it windowed with a bar at the top.

Hello guys, I have a problem that my game every time crashes on “Preparing Shaders”, and I already tried almost everything I could. (From the first boot)
When the game starts, it loads the epilepsy screen, but on step “Preparing Shaders” the music stops and the game gets stuck forever with 0% CPU or just crashes.
My setup is i5 3470, 16gb RAM, and RX 6600M (Adrenaline 23.2.2), and the game it’s not installed in my SSD
I tried Uninstalling and installing the game, Turn Off Tldr, changing the Engine.ini and GameUserSettings.ini, Virtual memory, Super Resolution in Adrenaline, Update my GPU Drivers, and Delete the ProgramData Shaders Cache, and the AppData Local Files. I Tried everything that I found on Reddit and youtube but nothing worked.
If you have a solution or suggestions, pls help me, I’m going crazy with this

if you encountered the error of loading the game because of descriptor file..phoenix/uproject
you just missed a simple step towards the end, once you have extracted the iso, there is a setup file that you need to execute, complete that which will install the game and that should solve the issue. itll replace the game directory with the crack applied, cheers.

If one zone keep crashing, down the resolution the minimium, get away from that zone and set your resolution to the normal one again.

I installed the game and when the installation stopped because of the dll, I went to the security history of my pc and saw the record that the file had been deleted because it was a virus, I went to the action button and restored the file, then I came back to the game installation page and clicked to try again, and the installation completes. Then I downloaded Steven’s crack (look in the comments) and made a copy paste in the installation folder and so far it’s working, after several unsuccessful attempts.

Although the game supports hdd the game prefers to be installed to a ssd at the minimum. The game will load a lot of stuffs from your hd and hdd does struggle with the demand. Since it killed your hd might as well buy a ssd for your pc now.
Your hd probably already had issues and the game most likely just made it worse.

It’s clearly Defender removing it, you need to check quarantined files it will be in there, then just restore the file which will put it back from the location it was removed from, got to defender, virus & threat protection, protection history, and I bet the file is in there
no it wont as defender has permanently flagged the file , it wont let me add a exception or anything, i even completely uninstalled it redownloaded and its still borked the empres.dll file , only fix was but the game.
Then you need to turn off Real Time Protection within defender, it will sort your issue out

That patch cursed the game.
I had played for 80+ hours without a single crash. After updated I have at least one crash per session during a loading (quick travel or exiting an area) and I am not alone in this boat.
Also this patch completely broke RTX. Guaranteed it never worked correctly in this game but editing the INI file you could get results. Now RTX is just borked.
So yeah I don’t think people this clearly untested patch.
I have disabled all shields (both antivirus and Windows), re-downloaded the torrent (with files saved in a different location), and during installation, I am still getting the same error – unarc/isdone.dll. I have never had this problem with any other game =/ Now, all that’s left is to wait for other releases and hope that they won’t have this crappy problem.

unarc.dll or isdone.dll error is usually a torrent issue. Rehashing or redownloading the game usually fixes the problem.
