Alright guys, here is how to play it. Crack it, then go to the folder that you installed the game. There should be an application that is called ‘Hegemony III Launcher’. That is the one that actually starts up the game. Open it and play. Create a shortcut if you want and delete the one that came with the installation.
problem was solved for me NOT using direct acces to launc, use Hegemyny III launcher in parent directory (direct parent of the one addressed by the direct access)
no need to run the .exe desktop . must go to the folder that contains the .exe folder and there ejecutr another .exe xD

If you have the gk2corestrings.str problèmes try Hegemony 3 Launcher in the main folder…sorry for my English iam french 🙂
Just go to install folder and start “Hegemony III Launcher.”
Finally problem solved..
I launch the game use launch32.bat in the main folder and its worked !!!
