@Ko1 There’s nothing to install. You can copy and paste the game folder anywhere you want, or even run it from your download folder if you want. The only change you need to change is if you want to use the launcher to enable mods/DLC then you need to edit the launcher-settings.json and change DistPlatform to “pdx”, then run dowser.exe instead of hoi4.exe
@phoenixCU Are you sure it’s missing. It shows up in my launcher as the last option in the music section of the DLC list
@lostsoul It has all the DLC. Have you tried enabling the launcher and checking that they’re all enabled? Could be if you’re running the hoi4.exe it’s loading an old configuration where you don’t have them enabled.

@fred en fait tu installes le launcher paradox ensuite dans le dossier du jeu tu changes dans launcher-settings.json DistPlatform par pdx, oublies pas les ” ensuite tu lances dowser.exe au lieu de hoi4.exe et du launcher tu peux changer la langue du jeu 😉

I fixed it by moving the game folder to C:/Games/Hearts of Iron IV
For some reason, when I had it on my desktop I would get this error. Weird af but I solved it, maybe it’ll help some of you guys

doesnt work. game is closing in a second after starting hoi4.exe or dowser.exe (i changed before the launcher settings) whitout a error. i think the steam api is the problem. the dlcs cant verify in the launcher.
