      Exactly! I don’t want VALVE/STEAM or Denuvo or any other Spyware or crypto-Malware on my PC. That’s why I download the ISO or Portable Zip Files of the games that I like (which aren’t many) and install them on any OS, much like a CD or DVD, any where and any time that I desire.

    There may be someone who doesn’t have a Steam account. Or someone who wants to have the game downloaded to install and play on a PC offline. Are you able to stay there for more than 5 minutes without complaining about something?

      Steam allows you to play offline, you just switch account into offline mode.

      had the same problem – try updating your Latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Version 86 & 64 versions – worked for me.

      Create in notepad a text file with this line for example:

      hl2.exe -language spanish

      After – language word the language yoy want.

      Save this file in te directory of hl2 and save like this: hl2.bat
