8.) go back to the Godfall directory, and you will find the “launcher.exe” open it
9.) you will notice that at some point of the loading, it will open a browser, prompting you to add the supposed “hello mod kit” game from epic, just accept and MINIMIZE the epic games launcher…
10.) go back to the game and wait
11.) have fun!

You have to install Epic Games Store first, (make a fake account) and find Hello NEIGHBOR mod kit, not sure why they just call it Hello mod kit. Install that then run the launcher.exe to start the game.

Nope, it doesn’t work for me. I did add up hello mod kit, and click on launcher.com, but, only Epic game launcher pop up, and nothing happens.
I think they patch it already, at least when try to start, in taskmanager godfall starts but stop after some time and nothing appear on screen. Epic says running and return to launch again

For the Update, if you have the error in the file $movedMarker because it’s missing.. go in the dir of godfall and create a file of txt rename in $movedMarker without extension “txt” and you can apply the update!

For those with the “$movedMarker” error: simply create a text file on the game’s root directory, remove the .txt extension and then rename the file exactly $movedMarker, and finally you can patch without errors

I have done:
1) Downloaded it in a games only partition on Ssd;
2) Created and logged in a dummy Epic Games account;
3) Added to Epic Games library the Hello Mod Kit;
4) Opened through Launcher.exe.
But with the last step i receive the following message: “this app can’t be run on your PC”.
Then, when trying to open directly with Aperion.exe, game open but gives internet connection problem, requesting to restart the game and then the same happens again.
Already tried insatalling Mod Kit instead of just adding in another download of this crack

What worked for me:
1. After download torrent i make new acc on Epic Game Store.
2. Log in on web and in app on computer (web site still open).
3. In app i add HN Mod Kit to library, start preparing to install and after this i stop for pause.
4. Last step i run Launcher.exe from game folder(as a administrator), wait, and accept all things, after this game start.
so we have to download the whole game again to update from v2091 to v2093,coz some of us are still playing with the old release ie,2089

I downloaded the torrent, my browser listed there is Launcer.exe in the file but when I checked there was none. also the game always get error 9001 when I run Aperion.exe without Epic Game Store. when i click on the launcher,.exe, epic game launcher starts, the game starts and the launcher closes but the web tab never shows up to link to hello mod kit and the game says connecting… and after a while gets in error 9001 and closes.

I followed the guide by “Master” near the top and it worked perfect with zero errors or flaws.

So, as others said, if you are having troubles updating, make a new text file named $movedMarker save it and then remove the .txt extension and place that in the main godfall directory, overwrite it if you already have one.
-Make a Backup of your Launcher.exe of your 2.0.91 Version you will need that later
-Update to 2.0.93 and don’t use files in the crack folder of the 93 update.
-Update to 2.0.95 and replace the OnlineFix files, then since the launcher.exe of this update result as a virus, replace it with your 2.0.91, i’ve dont that with my 2.0.89 and i perfectly can run the game with the 2.0.95 files, enojy,

For those who can’t instal the update, you must have at least 55 GB off Free space in the disk.
Game works fine, following the instructions master posted on the 15th. I ran the game on 91 then had no problems updating to 93 and 95 either.

I want to thank everyone involved in bringing this game to us for free along with the updates / patches. I maintain my own server, write bots / macros and modify game files to add new classes, races, abilites, items, etc. So, I know how much time and effort goes into doing this although a lot here just want to bitch and whine about how long it takes, what you did or didn’t do, etc. Either way, I still want to thank everyone who has something to do with this for your time and effort, so again thanks very much and I do appreciate everything you all do 🙂

1) *STOP* being a douche and spamming dumb comments. They’re giving you **FREE** games and **TIME** to crack / update these games. Show some respect!
2) STOP listening to the “Virus, Malware” warnings as the *ONLY* trojan is your anti-virus program. The best thing you could ever do for yourself would be to reformat your PC and *NEVER* install a anti-virus program as they’re the virus themselves. Do research on them and you’ll see, all they do is zip up viruses and if you don’t buy, upgrade or you try to uninstall it then the program will unzip all the viruses and make you think that they fix it. It’s a fucking scam, so educate yourselves.
3) Download Epic Games Launcher and Install it.
4) Create a new account that you only play this game on. (do **NOT** use your original account)
5) Download GodFall v2.0.91-0xdeadc0de.rar (43.5gb).
6) Put it in a folder that you prefer.
7) Create a new.txt file inside that folder and rename it to: $movedMarker (Take the .txt off completely)
8) Download all the patches. v2.0.93, v2.0.95, v2.1.17.
9) Install each patch in order. V2.0.93 FIRST, v2.0.95 SECOND, v2.1.17 THIRD
10) Open up Epic Games Launcher and search in the store for: Hello Neighbor Mod
11) DO **NOT** INSTALL THE MOD, JUST ADD IT TO THE LIBRARY.
12) Close the Epic Games Launcher (Right click on your menu by the clock and click exit)
13) You *MUST* close out Epic Games Launcher each time you restart the game.
14) Make sure that you copy / paste everything inside the Online Fix folder and paste it inside the GodFall folder: OnlineFix folder, Launcher.exe and OnlineFixLauncher.ini files.
15) ***ONLY*** click on the “Launcher.exe” file (BLUE ICON) and ***NOTHING*** else!! In fact, right click on it and create a desktop shortcut.
If you did all of this then it works flawlessly. If it does not work then either your PC won’t handle this game or you’re an idiot. If you’re an idiot and have no idea what you’re doing then *PLEASE* educate yourself on how to use these free games instead of posting idiotic and dumb comments here. I’ve used Skidrow/Reloaded and Fitgirl since 2007 and I have **NEVER** once ran into *ANY* game that didn’t work nor have I ***EVER*** got a trojan / virus from them, ***EVER***!! What to do with the 3DMPatchData folder in the last update?
A: Folder “3DMPatchData” is related to “Update.exe”. Install it Using “Update.exe” When its finished, you can remove them.

I did all the steps correctly but I don’t understand this nonsense with the $movedMarker file. I created the text file with such name, put it in the game’s folder and the first patch says the file is not found there. WTF is wrong? There is no .txt ending or anything to the file’s name. However, it is opened by the notepad. Why the patcher says that the file is not there when it actually is???

For the creation of “$movedMarker”, create a .txt, show the extention in the document, rename the “$movedMarker”, delete the “.txt”, said yes, and hide the extention in the document, patch will work 🙂

Guys,
I tried create many times the movedmaker and dont works for me.
For solve the problem, i redownload the torrent chosing only archive “$movermaker”. I dont know why, but in desktop version torrent this specified file dont appears after download. I use a web u torrent to download e bring to instalation folder and finally works fine.

The EPIC probably fix the game, im receving the error ls0021 – Your account dont have acess to Hello Mod Kit.

The version is not changing, in game, even though I already patched the game to the latest version (v2.1.17) Please FIX!
Finished the game, creating the $movedmaker file fixed wrong hash error on updating the files on my end.
here how to update from v.2.0.91 to v.2.0.93
Question how make to delete .txt word from when we creation new file text!!!
1. go to file godfall
2.make new file text document
3.name it “$movedMarker” put .txt if you want confused just for fun. even file will be always text document and if you always failed update for 91 to 93
4 after that right click that text document “$movedMarker” and put that to “add to archive” winrar you understand!!
5 open that you will see text you put to winrar is have name “$movedMarker.txt.txt” or “$movedMarker.txt”
6 delete word .txt and that will make text document be nothing just like empty paper
7 drag or extract that “$movedMarker” to godfall games folder or where you play the game {not place update file v.2.0.93 ok}
8. after that you will see the file “$movedMarker” is not text document just “empty paper”
9. try update and you finish that!!
That “how to” if you confused if fail update 91 to 93 even make .txt gone or can’t delete .txt…
if you even make new text file “$movedMarker” still failed because that still text document not empty paper we must make .txt because that’s type file so make type file .txt gone must from winrar easy way

I have the base version of the game. Version 2.0.89. Where can I find the next version. I just need the update only file for version 2.0.90 and 2.0.91. They aren’t listed here. Please help. I have played more than half the game and don’t want to play from the start by downloading the whole game again.
