I’m trying to install Forza, but it stops loading and gets in: “media \ base \ ui \ videos \ 1080 \ ie \ tone.bk2” And it stays infinitely on this screen. I’ve already tried disabling antivirus, shutting down the internet, copying the installer to my hard drive and nothing !! I even installed a new update for my Windows 10 and did nothing. What is the solution?

can anyone actually make this work? i installed the game, then the 1st dlc, then the 2nd dlc, then the 3rd dlc, and it doesn’t run. i followed the video above but it’s no help, since it’s a different version. bottom line is it doesn’t work.
sorry for triple posting but i solved it and wanted to share xD so basically, as always, they never upload anything that does not actually work, so i thought it must be my retardation that somehow causes this and tried everything i could, in the end i don’t know what exactly was it that solved my problem but i think it was moving the installation to C:\ drive. just be sure to:
1- install game first, do dlcs in order
2- have a look at this reddit thread, some messages might help,
3- helpful videos for previous version (i think they’re out of date though)
4- !!! install the damn thing in your C drive !!!

on 07/02/2019 (DE) the game was still and since 03.07.2019 (DE) it is not at all always shows errors, forza motorsport 7 could not be started, please contact the system administrator so that he repair this app or new can install. I was able to make the game run on windows 10 1903 thanks to someone from the steam underground forum.
I made a guide of my steps. I will share it here as well, you don’t need any additional file. all you need is the game from codex with the 3 updates mentioned below.
So i will explain how to make the game works on win 1903 but all the thanks goes to osb79.
1- So first you need forza motorsport 7 of codex with the 3 updates (you can find it here https://www.skidrowreloaded… … -incl-dlc/)
Disable your antivirus before even downloading the game (it can still remove the cracks in the update folders. When you download them, i advice you to put them in a rar folder so that the antivirus cannot delete them anymore)
2- Mount codex-forza.motorsport.7 using a software like daemon tool
3- Install the game following the steps however make sure to uncheck the box about installing the crack directly
4- than install the updates
Forza.Motorsport.7.Update.v1.133.8511.2.incl.DLC-CODEX
Forza.Motorsport.7.Update.v1.137.587.2.incl.DLC-CODEX
Forza.Motorsport.7.Update.v1.141.192.2.incl.DLC-CODEX
in this exact order while also making sure to uncheck the box of the crack
So far, you shouldn’t have put any crack in the game !!!
5- in Forza.Motorsport.7.Update.v1.141.192.2.incl.DLC-CODEX –> CODEX folder you have the cracks of the version v1.141.192.2
Copy and paste only the following files in the appfiles director of your game: vcruntime140_app.dll, WinStore.Love.Auth.dll, WinStore.Love.dll, xbox_live.json
6- Activate Developer mode (just type Developer settings in the search bar of windows), under developer features just select Developer mode
7- open windows powershell in Administrator
8- type cd “whatever is the directory of your appfiles folder”
e.g. cd “C:\Games\Forza Motorsport 7\AppFiles” (the quotation included)
9- then type Add-AppxPackage AppxManifest.xml -register
(copy past it)
10- Search for forza Motorsport 7 in windows search bar and then i advice you to pin it to the task bar
11- enjoy

I made everything…. step by step from the ELIE350 and NESHA post and the game worked…but when I was configuring the videos settings, the game stopped working and I cannot play it anymore. Has anyone facing this problem? my windows version is 1903.

Anyone have a download problem? torrent program crashing after a few seconds of downloading. I downloaded 80% and have “xtorrent stop working” maybe 20 times. A few days later I started from the beginning and I have a 0% crash … I have no problems with others torrents. Tryied other program too.

Make sure to set exclusions for all of the game’s folders in Windows Defender…
