       Because Control is a third-person glorfied walking-simulator. She has red hair and has powers. Comparison stops there, Sure it isn’t AAA, and it looks boring as shit, but the graphics look pretty. And if you’re bored withnothing to play, why not stare at a beautiful ass for a few hours. There’s an audience for everything. Hence the locust plague that is indie horror -> New Youtube streamer content, easy subs for overactors and screams IE Markiplier.

       Yeah right. Control is a walking simulator in which you fight lots of enemies with different weapons, with boss fights and upgrades and skills and skill points and quests and dialogue and and and. Control is as much a “walking simulator” as Elden Ring is. I’m not even saying Control is any good. But classifying it as walking simulator is just plain stupid and shows you obviously know nothing at all about game genres.
