I played the first one in search for a good rpg, and i was surprised that it was good, like second hand good, nothing like the good old days of Final fantasy ofc, but it wasnt that bad, it got some humor in it, some boobs and ass too, good anime and drawings,good voices, some secrets, char developement on your likeings, replayability cuz you get some unique chars on playing the second time, but the fairy thing is just a japanese thing, basically its the weapon that talks and transforms to a human after battle, besides that all the usual save the world rpg stuff, it was alright overall. All that said presuming you know what a rpg is and you like those sort of games, if not your comment doesnt make sense.

You can get a ps2 emulator and the Radiata Stories iso. It’s what I did when i wanted to relive it.

@Lumpsinthenight i think that error because you don’t have recruitment ram for play this game. so if you want to play this game, you must upgrade your ram first

when I start the application it asks for confirmation so I know and yes I have it running as admin but after the confirmation the game wont run, no errors no nothing… anyone have any tips as to what I’m doing wrong or lacking?

Possible fixes for graphic.ccp DXFAIL error:
Reinstall/Fresh install DirectX
Set Compatibility to lower OS; e.g. Windows XP
If it still persist, your video card is the fault(or your ram/needs higher atleast 8gb). Unsupported GPU mostly. Upgrade hardware or just play another game.
im not seeing the logos and opening when i use my dedicated amd video card but when i use the intel hd graphics it shows up who else got this problem?

Now i get it, FFF Advent dark force is the same game but with lots of new content and more endings, so its better to play this one rather than the first FFF.

kiritodanell set the date before july 1st and you should be able to play
Set your PC date before july 1st and it will start up, this bug is caused by an in-game library that conflicts with savegame times and has been fixed in the Steam version with a 3.5gb big ass update, if you are using windows 10 you can set your pc to automatically correct your date so after setting it before July 1st it will change back while playing without causing a crash nor requiring you to change it back again
