Followed the instructions for the .bat and i’m getting this error:

@John and @others: with all respect if you guys just spend 10 sec to check steam page. MOD is FREE, but in order to use/download/play it, you must own Half Life 2 base game which is not FREE.
weird how you guys think hahahaha it’s like seen DLC free but you must own (buy) the base game in order to play the FREE DLC. then you come to ask why you share free DLC ? lol because you can’t download it or use it if you don’t OWN (not free) game/base game
and in this GoldBerg package, it’s inclu both the free MOD + the base halfe life 2 game (not free).
@Rakin: try download from torrent, works fine, i got same problem using others direct links, looks like there is missing files. i see they remove all direct links now so they will re-upload it again. anyway torrent works fine

Damnit, I hate that feeling when you’re searching for something a little obscure and right when you think you found the fix only to scroll down and see all the other messages asking the same thing.
HOW TO CHANGE THE DAMN SUBTITLES FROM RUSSIAN TO ENLISH
I’m worse than most since I only play with a controller and I don’t want to go into the horror I went through trying to get that working without Steam. But I’ve gotten this close to a perfect experience only to be hampered by the damn subtitles in practically the only English spoken game I can barely understand a single thing being said
I found a way to set the close captions to English. I opened the folder “Entropy Zero 2” and in the search bar, I wrote in “russian” and deleted all the files whit russian in them. Then in the in-game console, I wrote cc_lang English (you can enable the console by going into the settings then keyboard then advanced and “Enable developer console”). For me, it worked I hope this helps some people.
