Awesome! I played enderal a year or two ago back before forgotten stories expansion for it came out. Its a really awesome game. The quality overall is like 80% of skyrims quality but Its an entire game length new world and story and even new leveling and perk system. This is 100% worth checking out.

Downloaded ,started SmartSteamLoader_x64 and steam just start and want me to log in
Game starts then loads for like 10 seconds then quit with no error message. Started as administrator
Always wanted to give this a try, but had to many mods installed and that caused conflicts. Great that they released a standalone version.

Why SSE ? It’s on Second Edition engine ?
Re install the game with AV off and add the folder to exclusion list before launching the game.
Also right click the game’s launcher and check if it says that it may have come from another computer if it says that then just compress it and send it to desktop and then extract it and launch the game.
PS: Steven as far as I understand If I already have Skyrim downloaded on my computer I can simply install through steam no?
nope it does not work the only thing it pops up is the image from the menu without the menu it just shows the image for 5 sec and crashs

Hi Steven. 1st of all, tkxs 4 all the indications 🙂 For a long time played the Enderal original mod,, but this on is not working . I tryied all the avaiable resolutions. I´ve installed the Skyrim classic, beside this is a standalone version . Bypassed the steam . Have repalce the dll files, run as adm and follow everything as said here. W10, I7, GTX980, 16GB. Don´t work 🙁 Frustation :-(,
Guys ffs it’s THAT easy. Download, extract and click on ‘Enderal Launcher.exe’ If it doesn’t work check your antivirus (ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE BITDEFENDER). Add to exclusion and VOILA it works.
The game still got issues tho, if a change tab the mouse cursor stays in game driving me crazy. Otherwise no problems at all.

I downloaded it thinking the SSE stood for the Special Edition, but its SmartSteam Emu. You can’t mod Enderal in Oldrim because it crashes to the seven heavens. I got Jebaited, I think the mods need to clarify this on the title.

Not working. It’s not the antivirus, it’s not steam client… just doesn’t work
NVM, got it working. Since the game doesn’t comes with an installer and you just need to unrar it and play, Windows block the shit out of the files. Just go to the Enderal folder and remove “Read Only”. Also, go to the .exe (Skyrim, skse_loader, Enderal Launcher, etc) And hit “unblock”. Got mine working that way.
….But its closing on the main menu, like I have some kind of Data Files or SKSE related problems. Weird.
I give up on this. Download Oldrim and Install Enderal with their launcher, its way better.

Downloaded no worries and launch it, the only real problem is, it crashes after showing you the wallpaper, with no error message.

Hmm. Not working for me either. First it was the steam emulator that wasn’t working. I replaced it with the ALI steam emu and got past that, but then the after getting to the wallpaper loading screen, the skyrim kept crashing. Tried fiddling with the settings in the launcher, but no joy. I use win7 and the files were loose when downloaded, not zip’d, so it shouldn’t be that.
For all who had problem with steam !
1. Turn off “start steam with launcher” like steven said.
2. Close that menu from enderal launcher!
3. Open with SmartSteamLoader.exe (If he wants to connect with steam just close it and try again until u got menu from enderal launcher.
4. Then press start enderal.
not working for me, must be a windows 7 issue ? Have tried all 3 exe files, with steam/admin & without, but crashes after initial logo.
Guess il just wait for a Fitgirl repack version.
If you really want to play and it doesnt work, buy the game for 3 € $ and instal the mod which is free from steam lol

I downloaded the torrent – game was not working, just like most of the users here.
I then downloaded one of the rar files and…wow, that is working, game runs well.
Managed to fix one problem just to get another. The file was Read Only protected when downloaded from torrent. After RO removal laucher works but still crashes when play is selected.
Tried using non steam crack i was able to launch the game see the initial screen for like 5 second and than is crashes to desktop.
Also just realizied its like 13$ on stream so i guess im buying it anyway..
I dowloaded the torrent from here and didn’t worked for me even after all steps mentioned before…
But then i downloaded a torrent from “pcgamestorrents com” and that one worked after unrar without doing anything else, try from the other site for who didn’t worked in this one
(i love skidrowreloaded and i download every game here but this one i needed to search it in another place)

Torrent link is fucked up, use the RAR and it WORKS, i’ve got same issue that most of you described.
This release is a big piece of crap . Not working at all . I am on windows 10 gtx 1060 and i7 . Always launch then back up to windows trying . Same with all solutions . first game ever that crashing on my comp over 2 years .

I don’t know how things is with this new expansion, but back when this mod released you didn’t needed an original copy of Skyrim to play it. You just need to download an updated version of the Old Skyrim (not the special edition), install SKSE (which is as simple as put it in the main skyrim folder) and download the Enderal launcher from their site and the launcher install Enderal automatically, ez pz.
If you guys are having problemas with this torrent but still wants to play Enderal, try the convencional method I just said. I think it will work way better.

My experience:
-I applied the Reloaded crack
-Launch via “TESV.exe”, close. Then edit My Documents \ My Games \ Skyrim \ SkyrimPrefs.ini resolution
and full screen lines (1080)
-I have run Enderal Launcher
-then go to “Settings> Optimization” and activate “One Tweak”.
For those who, when starting a new game, nothing happens, delete “Enderal \ Data \ SKSE \ Plugins \ SkyrimRedirector.ini
-Start the game from Enderal Launcher and from the screen that opens ‘Start game’.

I don’t know why everyones having such a hard time. This launched for me no problem. It is a standalone. If you look in the zip file it comes with TESV.exe so I think it comes with the skyrim files needed to load and play it. Just run smartsteamloader_x64.exe from the enderal folder. It should run no problem. If it doesn’t, then maybe just uninstall this and try installing it through steam, but with steam you need to have your own copy of skyrim, but it can be pirated though.
I got mine working by downloading the rar files and not through utorrent.
Don’t download the torrent version it won’t run download from one of the rar links and extract the game it worked immediately for me.
Yeah, can confirmed about the crash like everyone else, maybe wrong files placement. This is the only skidrow release that I had an issue with, been here since 2012.
SOLUTION:
1. delete the Steam Emu (all files)
2. download crack for Skyrim 1.9.32.0.8 and copy & paste
3. Put the game to Mod Organizer
4. Copy your Enderal.ini and EnderelPrefs.ini setting to the Mod Organizer – Settings – INI editor
5. Run the game through MO
Well i just tried every solution in the comments but the game still refuses to start, unchecking “read only” and “start steam with launcher” fixes the issue with steam but the game crashes after getting to the enderal loading screen.

If you downloaded the torrent and your game is not working DELETE IT.
It will not work no mater what you try.
Those for who the game works have downloaded from the rar links and extracted the game.
I downloaded the game through torrent and tried all fixes and it didnt work.
So I deleted the torrented download and downloaded the rar files.
Extracted the game and it worked
Thats dont work. Dont lose your time. Wait for codex. Games steamriped are all trash.

TES have a windows that show a corner of what could be TES, but it dont create any .ini files.
All the launcher just bring me to that stupid city in the sunset picture, and a crash within 15 secondes.

As some have suggested, after unrar, just launch the Steamsmartloader_64, go to settings in the Enderal Launcher, choose other, uncheck launch Steam, save settings, close everything. Relaunch the _64 loader, launch Enderal, and it worked fine.
I downloaded the zip file, non torrent FYI.

So as user Moniek said, you have to download this game in parts and to unrar it, do not use torrent.
second – the game will work when you uncheck box for start with steam in louncher.
third – its standalone you dont need skyrim because this is skyrim, on steam its written that you need skyrim and it is for that version this is complete playable version, and you can play it from this folder without any coping or anything.

ya it worked for me after uncheking (start steam with launcher start under the (Other) tab of the launcher options,and it wont work also if i use (onetweak) and (ENboost) in the (optimization) tab,sometime it still gives me the error i jsut close and retry to laucnh couple time and it work,hope it helps someone:)

It works, but only the rar. (direct download) not the torrent, I guess that Windows block files, not the antivirus, but the windows.
Just download the rar, put it in the trust list for antivirus, extract , put the file in the trust list with your antivirus.
Open the Enderal Launcher go to settings/other uncheck the steam option, save. Close the window. Open with the SmartSteamLoader, start game.
I hope this helps. It does not need Skyrim.
Confirmed working.
If you CTD after splash screen, trying deleting JContainers.DLL from the SKSE folder and see if the game loads. You can also remove CrashFixPlugin.dll and try.
To gain more FPS, remove ENB. Game looks fine without it. Gain 10-20fps without enb.

if u download the game using the torrent… it doesn’t will work.
use the 3 part download, or look the torrent in other place, one that give you a .rar file when you download it.

The torrent version works just fine, here’s how:
1- Right click the folder and go properties and uncheck the “read only” option
2- open the launcher and go to settings and then remove the steam option
3- done. if you crash when you try to open the game go to SKSE and delete JContainers.dll

@Steven’s third suggestion did it for me, although something weird happened. I tried playing the game on 2 occasions in a day.
First time, the SmartSteamLoader_x64 worked for me properly.
Second time, it didn’t for some reason and then tried the suggestion I saw. Hope it helps someone.
Got the same errors everyone else was pointing out, just crashing after i press start enderal in the SSL.
I unchecked the read-only on the folder, then started SSL, pressed start, it starts steam and connects to it, then crashes. I then closed the SSL launcher, reopened it, and with steam still running, press start, and now it works.
For me atleast, it needs steam to be on, if i close it, and try to start again, same crash, and i do have on the settings/other start steam with launcher start on.
Also, just as a precaution, when unraring it, select just part 1, and unrar the folder inside the rar, so you don’t have a folder within a folder whiting which the game is in.
Do someone know how to change the language , i tried to change it in the Log.ini but nothing works..

To change the language : settings > others > enderal.ini > first line slanguage –> you write your language. But before that you need install language pack and to do that you need people translate the game in your language
So the first thing to do is to find your language pack on internet for this game ! If nobody translate the game in your language –> you will not have the choice … you will play in english !

Guys i solved it. Btw torrent works just fine, so what happens is, for some of you, windows is blocking the ever living shit out of the game. FIRST! Don’t install the game on your C: drive, save it on D: or any other drive where windows is not installed. Then as explained above, check the properties of the game file, remove read only, unblock the steam and launcher exe files from their properties. Done, this is how i got mine working.
Why not updating the game too 1.5.5.0 it fixes and stabilizes the game so much.
i only find russians but 100% those are with malware.
