Menu is in german and when I press new game, it just stays in the menu and wont move forward.

For those having language issues. Open Skyrim_Default.ini in Notepad and change GERMAN to ENGLISH.

Enderal is a total conversion for Skyrim, originally, from the first skyrim engine, now it was ported to Skyrim Special Edition engine (which is more polished and hopefully will make enderall more polished aswell)
To fix language problem, use launcher first, it sets language to english. Also setup your graphics here. I’m speechless, my favorite RPG ported to new engine, wow. Time to play vanilla and then mod it even more.
Important note – you must start game with skse64_loader.exe, not SkyrimSE.exe (or you can only use launcher). If you do not use loader, you will not launch Enderal at all (you will get default skyrim title screen in german).

None of your advice works. Tried starting the game using Enderal Launcher.exe and skse64_loader.exe. With any of them, all I get is the Skyrim title screen in German (which then stops responding and I have to force close using task manager).
Just look all the other comments. This release is broken and doesn’t work.
Truth be told, I could never play Enderal. Every release I ever downloaded of this garbage kraut mod always had some issue that prevented it from working, despite even having changed PCs and Windows versions since the first. Since this one is based on a different engine (Skyrim SE instead of classic Skyrim) I thought maybe I’d finally get one that worked. Nope, no Enderal for you.
By the way, taking a look at Steam forums for Enderal, you’ll see plenty of legit purchasers having exactly all the same problems described here with no solution in sight for this turd.
First you have to run Enderal Launcher.exe and Wait For steam Start， Then Start game with skse64_loader.exe
Go into the folder enderal launcher/system/config and edit the “config.sur” to change sSkyrimFolderPath to your games current path, then run the launcher.

Well I don’t have the Steam launcher client installed on my PC, so maybe that could be it. But considering I’ve seen many legit Steam users who purchased the game having the same problems me and others are having here, I don’t think this is it.

I know this is a very late reply, but I did try doing this back then. Changing the Skyrim folder path in the config files didn’t solve anything.
I downloaded “Enderal” from your site, but it doesn’t want to launch and gets stuck on the main menu.
I followed the instructions by changing the path of my game in “config.sur” but this time the launcher starts and the game gets stuck on the loading screen.
