Still white screen for me sadly. I will wait for a full version with this patch already installed to see if works somehow.
I USED TO GET WHITE SCREEN TOO UNTILL I USED THE DIRECT X IN THE FOLDERS, I THINK IT WAS DIRECT X JUNE 2012 OR SOMETHING

Hi, i copy all the file in the update folder on the game folder (is the “elden ring deluxe edition v1.02.1-p2p”) but the .bat file tell me “Data Folder Files NOT FOUND”.
Any suggestions?
I was doing the same. U need extract not in the folder “Game”, but in the the folder that u installed the game. Then run .bat and see the patch updating

Update works fine (aka Xdelta update that why it’s less size but will take few min), but be sure to copy all files located inside UPDATE folder (do not copy update folder, am talking about files inside that folder), to “INSIDE” your main game folder. then run “ELDEN_RING_Update.v102.2.bat” or as admin, and wait until it update all files. after update is finished, copy crack files and Enjoy

Thank you going to try this one . i did the xdelta but say file missing and when i got it to work ingame it dont say update version nr still old one feedback when am rdy going to re download as for some reason torrent stop dl at 98.6%

I must’ve fked something up while updating using xdelta. Will try this one, thanks a bunch, Pablo.
So confused. I copied everything in the update folder and put it inside the main game folder. manually ran patch and update rar, THEN ran bat. Says I’m missing data0 even when i see it in the game folder. Copied everything in crack folder into my game folder and launched elden as admin.

As this seems to be a major problem (for whatever reason, I don’t know): The game files are supposed to reside in “%ELDENRINGDIRECTORY%\Game\”, and the files from my “Update” folder have to be in “%ELDENRINGDIRECTORY%”, NEXT to the “Game” folder. This is nothing I invented, but the directory structure of the legit game and exactly what installing the game from PLAZA’s .iso will yield you.

Also gfetting the same game/data not found problem, what am i doing wrong? I have game installed in D:games/elden ring, i put the files into the ‘game’ folder inside that folder, not just copying the whole folder but just the individual files inside, i even put the batch file into the game folder . when i run it from within the ‘game’ folder in d/games/eldenring/game, it gives me files not found. what do i do ? which folder do i put it in?
I figured it out, the data not found problem. You don’t actually copy the ondov files into the ‘game’ folder within the elden ring install folder

Mine is D/games/elden ring. Inside there’s a folder, ‘game’ which has all the install files
Don’t copy the Files into that game folder, just copy them loosely next to that folder. Inside the elden ring folder but not inside the game folder within. Then run the batch file and it will work.
Now my game says version 1. 0.2 on the bottom.

how to intall the update
1. copy all files in update folder and paste into your elden ring folder (not elden ring/game folder)
2. run bat as admin
3. wait until it finish do not close or click on the command promt (you can see bat running on the task manager)
4. press N, do not press Y ..

Somehow my previous comment is not getting approved. What I said earlier is, does anyone detect a virus trojan named conteban on the patch file. and my game got a white screen after updating the patch and my game is not working anymore. Damn

For the people that is having the white screen error, You can restart your PC and try the update again, make sure your antivirus is not blocking any files and when you run the .bat file do not do anything until it asks you to press Y/N, where you should obviously press N and enter, let the update finish and once its done, copy and paste the crack files. Was having the white screen error and this fixed it.

a mi me resulto tienen que instalarlo en la carpeta elden ring no en la que dice game instalan todo ahi despues ejecutan el archivo .bat como admin luegoesperan la instalacion presionan n cuando termine y finalmente copian el interior de la carpeta crack y ese si lo pegan en la carpeta game asi resulto si lo hicieron bien saldra en el inicio del juego la version correcta, saludos amigos

To fix the white screen issue and actually get the update / patch running:
1. Place the downloaded update file in C:\Games\ELDEN RING not in the “Game” folder
2. Run the bat file in admin
3. WAIT for command prompt to do its thing. Even though it looks like its hanging and not going anywhere just wait for a while, DONT CLOSE THE CMD WINDOW, more lines will pop up.
4. After its done its gonna ask you to press Y or N. Choose N
5. Press any key to close and youre done.
i did all that and not fix the white screen
it works, but the loadings are very slow, it takes more to start, and sometimes does not load some world/architecture textures. 1.02.1 worked better for me

Copy all the files in the folder where you see the game folder, do not copy them into the folder that says game. Run the bat file and it should work. Worked for me
i doawnload the update , unfortunatly i got whitescreen i touch a lot of things , now i cant start the game ? i dont want restart at 0 what should i do ? what is the name of the ” save folder ” i mean i want put this save game on my desk , unistall all , put the new version deluxe and put my save again is it possible ? thanks if you have solutiion guys

patch 1.02.1 : 55-60fps
patch 1.02.2: 57-60 fps.
no more stuttering. At least in the part I tested.
I tested about 2 hrs in the early part of the open world game. right after the tutorial.

I can confirm this update works. As long as you follow the directions carefully. I’m. Not getting any whute screens and my game says version 1.02.2 on the bottom, so it looks to have updated and it works fine.

Perfect patching method.
1. Download Elden Ring.
2. 1.01 version patch is a must (crack X)
3. Download version 1.02.
4. Put the patch file in the Elden Ring folder (do not “game” )
5.Run the bat file with administrator privileges
6. Press N and complete the patch.
7. Add a crack.
8. Execute.
If the patch is not properly patched, Windows blocks it with a virus. Please check the device permission.

Patch is OK.. but for WHITE SCREEN. 100% Antivirus – Read/Write Permission – issue….
1. You must make all EldenRing Folders from read-only to full write access.(in my case..)
2. When Download ELDEN.RING.Update.v1.02.2-CS.zip right click – properties – check UNBLOCK
(smartscreen block problem)
then extract and go for patch as described from user —-> “shrimp”
3. Check if win-Antivirus-Defender if holding patch files. allow them. to continue… you must have all:

I’ve done everything mentioned here but still the same issue with missing data0 (even though i clearly see it in game folder) and still get the white screen.
Is patch version 1.01 absolutely necessary? or can i just go straight to download v1.02 after downloading full game deluxe edition (my case “ELDEN.RING.Deluxe.Edition.Steam.Rip-InsaneRamZes”)?

I had the problem of the white screen as well, turns out the update took longer than I thought to happen. You need to wait until you get a confirmation that the update was successful. Also, the files you copied should disappear from the folder. Copy the crack and you’re good to go

I have solved my white screen problem ! The root cause is probably that the update process actually didn’t work although you have successfully run the “.bat” file (even in admin mode). It is important to check that there are indeed 6 files in total in your Update folder. Some antivirus softwares may automatically delete some of these files and the update programe can’t detect this and still tell you it successfully run but in fact it didn’t. So what you need to do is just to make sure your antivirus doesn’t interfere with the update process.
