FIX CRASH:
go to DW\data\ and delete this file (Notice the extension) all_in_maps_1_p1.csb all_in_maps_2_p1.csb all_in_maps_3_p1.csb all_in_maps_persistant_p1.csb common_cod_1_pc.rpacz common_cod_2_pc.rpacz engine_pc.rpacz menu_ingame_gameplay_pc.rpacz menu_main_pc.rpacz weapons_pc.rpacz

EDIT: If you want to do it manually, do NOT delete all the p1 and rpacz files. If you delete all, you’ll lose some assets, like grass, etc.
This is the list of the files you need to delete, taken from the BAT’s fix:
in “DW” folder:

in “Data” folder:

the play dont save what should i do …..this update works fine for me put the game dont save

So, I copy and paste the contents of the crack and update folders into the install directory and hit copy and replace and that’s it? Or do I have to delete the aforementioned files as well?
Game still crashes after selecting continue at main menu.
I delete files but game still crashes.

Update fix. exe comes with a lot of malware and browser plugins fuck this

it deleted my saved game!!!….hours of gameplay wtf
after applying this fix, game starts, but all you see is just a blue sky. no game rendering.

NM, I just realized I had deleted one of the wrong files with the “PC” rather than the “pc”…..make sure you notice the difference is case. However game seems a little more stuttery now?

I am receiving the same error even after watching that youtube tutorial, i have followed them EXACTLY.
Can someone help me with how to update on the 3DM version?
since the Revolt version doesnt save game for me no matter what i do.
I’ve tried administrator mode, and everything else I could find but nothing worked.
only 3DM saved my game files, so i’ll be using that.
Now can someone help me with updating 3DM or help me with the save files in Revolt?

Hello guys, sorry but I just saw now your comments about update 1.5.0 installation and the inexplicable errors that are occurring to each one of you! I was hoping that you would post them in the video comment to solve them quickly as possible because that way I have received a warning!
So next time leave the questions in comment section of the tutorial video!
Now about the errors:
The “DLL” error I have already leave a solution in the video comments, please leave there the rest of the questions, I promise that I resolve them even if I need to send you some files! =)

For the people that are having problems with the sound after the update, you only need yo delete these files:
common_cod_1_pc.rpacz
common_cod_2_pc.rpacz
engine_pc.rpacz
weapons_pc.rpacz
in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Dying Light\DW\Data”.
If you delete more files than those the game wont start or have bugs like the missing sounds.
