Firstly, it’s $500 for everyone else, so they don’t need to buy the game anymore.
Secondly, cracking a game can be considered a challenge, a bounty, that comes with rewards, or bragging rights.
Thirdly, I don’t know if you notice, but investing a $500 to a smoother game is great. You know how it is. Having denuvo in the game system can bring the game into a mess. Slower FPS, Stutter, ID error, and probably need to be online all the time. I rather see someone donate $500 if they rich, than have a $60 game filled with denuvo.
