If anyone has the issue of the little loading screen coming up on the desktop and then not launching, make sure to install the REDIST stuff where the game is installed. direct x and the other one. fixed it for me. fuck soccer.

For those that the game Crashes by entering at Manglegrove, what i did is change the game to window mode before enter, and you will see game does not crash anymore, after that you can come back to fullscreen more, worked for me. Thanks CODEX!

Is the Torrent from few days ago and the Torrent now is different? Because the torrent i downloaded a few days ago still going strong at 2 Mb/second and i accidentaly readded this torrent again but instead of recognizing it as the same file and load the tracker from it, it register today’s torrent as a new Torrent in the download section. Is this torrent different and already included the fix for the black screen? If so the download speed is very slow around 100-300 Kbps. Wouldnt want the others downloading the old torrent without the fix if thats the case because the new current torrent with the fix needs lots more seeders.

Hello guys, I had the crash too. I fixed it for me for mandgroove (maybe other crashes). You have to change resolution to the lowest and put windowed not full screen. Try it !
Any news about the Manglegrove crash fix? I tried the Dxsetup thing, the windowed mode but none corrected it…

My game close without a “close message”, simply closes, on emerald coast, later in sand city, now in gondolia and finally i cant pass from the octopus and ships scene… somebody with the same problem or the solution ? i tried reinstall but nothing
MANGLEGROVE CRASH FIX:
Switch to WINDOWED display mode, and put it on a lower resolution size (temporarily) just to decrease the screen size. If you have an autosave at the Manglegrove, you will most likely crash again, so you might need to reload to an earlier manual save file. Upon entering the manglegrove you can put your display back to how it was. For any other future game crashes try to change the display setting and resize the screen.
And if none of that works, try to reinstall the game, it has worked for some from what I have researched.

I tried every method that most people on the comments above say that wouldn’t crash the game, but it crashed anyways, I have a save before the Manglegrove but it doesn’t matter if put the game on windowed and with all low graphic resolution, it still crash all the time I go to Manglegrove , I know doing the CODEX and also the crack is a lot of work, and also I know it’s a lot to ask but could you guys from skidrowreloaded please solve this problem.
Best Fix for me. If using NVidia cards. alt Z and turn on FPS counter. I was unable to start game till I did that. I have past mangle grove but crash after I get on boat. seams a lot of cut sceans are the cause of crashes and auto saves.

The game crashes when I try to enter the sea with my ship. And when I try to teleport with”zoom” to enter the sea…it also crashes. Random crashes also occur. Most of the time is when it’s on the loading screen tho. Hope a fix is comming soon.

I have tried FG repack, and same crashes. Have managed the way untill Manglegroove to Gondolia, with lot of random crashes ( 95% while loading ). Yet manage to be at Sea with the ship …. but crash irremediably. True that lowering grafics settings will help you bypass crashes …sometimes … but still we need a GOOD FIX!

Okay guys I am seriously blocked right now ! I managed my way throught crashes and I came across Puerto Rico with sucess ! But now there is a big problem to me, everytime I try to enter the ship my game always crashed it is not new, I found a way to make the game not crashing, it is to play around, doing some battle, exploring, doing some quests just before trying to get on the ship and sometimes the game don’t crash and let me throught ! But there is another problem right now, like I said I managed my way to Puerto Rico but here is the deal :
I have to get in my Ship (Very hard to do but I can do it) + pass the cinematic ON SHIP with Servantes opening the sea gates at the end of the cinematic the game is re-opening the Sea ship map (knowing the fact the game crash everytime I try to get in the ship with the sea map/ship screen) I simply can’t counter the ship crash 2 times in a row ! What can I do to pass this point of the game ? Please ! Can somebody help me ? I tryed everything ! I used the lowest graphisms, I used the windowed mode, I disabled V-Sync.. Just doing a couple of battle before entering the “sea gates” scene isn’t enough, my game keeps on crashing again and over again..

Nice work on the hotfix, got past the mangle grove but having an issue during the return to cobble stone where part way through the cut scene where you return to reality the screen goes black, the game continues as normal with sound and what not back into game play but the screen doesn’t return I can hear the foot steps when I move and thats it, cant access the menus or anything.

Hello, I have a problem after several hours of play. Wanting to go to the Manglegrove after leaving Heliodor. The problem appears in the passage between the Foothills and the Manglegrove after the little church.
The loading screen is done normally and once the character appears on the image, the game crash.
I was playing in full screen, so I try in the window, but nothing works.
I re-download the game for a second and the problem persists.
Do you have a solution ?
Bonjour, j’ai un soucis apres plusieurs heures de jeu. En voulant allez dans la Manglegrove après avoir quitter Heliodor. Le problème apparait au passage entre la Foothills et la Manglegrove après la petite église.
L’ecran de chargement se fait normalement et une fois que le personnage apparait sur l’image, le jeu crash.
Je jouait en plein écran, j’ai donc essayer en fenêtré, mais rien n’y fait.
J’ai retéléchargé le jeu une seconde et le problème persiste.
Avez vous une solution ?

The Game keeps on crashing during the escape scene from Jasper in Gondolia. I can watch the cutscene up to the part where we escape from Jasper’s “pet”, but after that it crashes. I tried following instructions I read online like lowering the graphics setting but it doesn’t work. Any working solution for this or a fix?
Changing to windowed mode, and set the resolution to its lowest did indeed fix the crashes.
For now. Atleast.
Upon leaving that pyramid looking thing, got another crash, and the windowed mode/resolution fix wont fix it anymore 🙁 Stuck now

installed the downloadable hotfix at the top of this page and that got me through the crashes.. can play once again, for now.

I’m 6 hours in without a hiccup and im below specs with a amd fx-4300.
Ignore the noobs, dl, install without any retardation, enjoy.

I think that instead of complaining, we should cherish sites like this, because we are ALL on a fucking timer.

I just can’t progress past the moment you meet the king at Heliodor; the game just keeps closing again and again once the cinematic has started. Tried windowed mode, lowest settings and resolution, manual save reload… I’d appreciate any advice on the subject u.u’
