Definitely sounds like a bad crack as the game errors out on start and doesn’t even start at all
The shortcut the installer puts onto your desktop is broken. To launch the game without it crashing, go directly into the game folder and find the .exe and create a new shortcut with it AFTER marking the .exe as ‘Run as Admin’ in properties.
Wait wait wait i got it to work. Delete the shortcut that the installer makes then make your own. then the game will work

I played the first game on my PS4 and was hoping all this time for it to come on PC someday, I just saw it on Steam and was rubbing my eyes, wasn’t expecting that at all! It was so sudden!! I checked yesterday about new upcoming games and I didn’t see that anywhere, so my surprise was leaving me almost at heart attack!

SOLUTION: To Fix when you open it always black screen for second and force close
Use the game exe thats in the game folder, dont use the desktop shortcut thats created.
creating a new shortcut on the desktop should also fix it.

those who ask about fullscreen settings, after you start the game a lady will ask you what game you want to play first and then ask about if you wanna change the settings or change them later.

Looking for a way to change the text language to Japanese. For some reason changing steam_api.ini language=japanese doesn’t work. Other languages, eg language=german work as expected.

If steam opens for you, it means you didn’t copy the crack files from SKIDROW folder to main game directory. (or you could install with “Apply Crack” checkbox selected).
Yeah, apparently this release doesn’t contain all the languages. If you look at resource files it only has german, english and some others
Maybe I’ll wait for a release with more language files, or that some good soul uploads them somewhere.

Skidrow launcher not working properly, it says installing will finish soon but after 5 hours nothing has changed. Hopefully we get a fix soon!!!

Guys, if anyone has a problem with their controller not working, like a PS4 controller for example, go to Steam and add the game, you can do it in these simple steps :
1. Before opening Steam and after you install the cracked game, go to the Steam’s folder, it is located in C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common and cut/paste or copy/paste the pirated game to the common folder. < This is the folder where Steam originally is installing your bought games there.
2. Open the Steam, go to your library, check on top corner of the screen "Games" and select Add a Non Steam Game. Wait for a moment to finish loading everything, then check the game, tick next to it and click add selected games.
3. Make sure you have your controller supported in the BPM – stands for Big Picture Mode – at the controller configuration and options. You don't have to use BPM every single time to play, don't worry, just make sure your PS4 controller support option is ticked.
4. Play the game.
That's it. Enjoy and if you like the game, buy it. Support the developers. Trying something for free before buying it is good, but always try to buy when you get the chance, even on a drop sale.

for error 0x0000007 : just download the VCRUNTIME140.dll (Version 64 bits) and XINPTU1_3.dll (version 64 bits) and paste them on Disk C\ Windows\ System 32 and syswow64. That solved that error.
Bros, someone else has the 0xc00007b problem? If you do and you fixed it i would really appreciate any instruction on how to fix it (Tried the net framework, DirectX and nothing helped.
I spent hours trying to figure out why the game force closes itself when I tried to launch the exe. from the installed directory..
After several uninstalls and re-installs instead of the game force closing itself. Steam force opens instead and tries to run the game, but then takes me to the game page in the Steam store instead..
I have no idea what to do at this point, cannot figure this **** out..

Guys, this is how you get to have Sistermon Noir in to the game, it works, go and do that :
If you go to the resources folder and edit the file “DSDBA.steam.mvgl” to something like “xdsDSDBA.steam.mvgl” or literally anything, just put at least one letter on that file, when you open the game again Sistermon Ciel will be gone and Sistermon Noir will be again. The Digimon exists in the game’s files! Go and do that, don’t worry, nothing will happen, no problems, I’ve been playing non stop for hours now since 3 days ago I did that and no problems whatsoever! It’s the same Digimon, it’s just like a “skin”, and if you want to change the name, use CE, there is a nice table out there already, support the person and be thankful to them, you can edit stats, names, skills, ANYTHING.
@tailmon. wut? the english names are way better, idk how you think gatomon makes less sense than tailmon, dogs have tails too like most animals, gato is far better word for a cat-type digimon since you know gato literally means cat
it works, use this solution, after the normal instal do this:
1 go to the game path and right clic into the .exe of the game.
2 go to the compatibility tab, then check the option “execute this program as administrator”
3 apply, then accept
4 make a shortcut of the .exe of the game, on your desktop, on your start menu or wherever you want
5 enjoy!

Although i don’t test it at another pc since i delete my game. Also i don’t tested it if able to migrate the save file into steam, but i appreciate if you continue what i can’t do.

Thank God, I finally able to play this game in my PC after so many troubleshooting. This game couldn’t be installed in my main PC before. The problem is the classic one: the installation bar is not showing any progress. Then, I tried to install the game in my laptop that has Windows 10 (I haven’t update any Windows apps like Dirext X, Visual C, etc…). Surprisingly, the game can be installed and playable. Finally, I copied the entire installed Digimon folder and pasted it to my PC. Now, I can play the game with no issue. In conclusion, I think the game installer won’t install because of some of Microsoft stuffs that I mentioned. I don’t know which, but you guys may tried this tip. Thank you.

Just got done with the first “Real” case in the 1st game (Not Hacker’s Memory), and when the cutscene where Yuuko walks out finished, it did a CTD and now it won’t load. IDK if a restart will help but hope this helps at least a little bit.
OK, so I got it figured out. You need to go into AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition\Saved\SaveGames\-1336877281 and make a backup of 0000.bin, slot_0000.bin, and system_graphic.bin. Then delete those files, and paste back in the 0000.bin and slot_0000.bin files.
I’ll keep an eye on this page for a little while to see if anyone else has trouble, or if I need to modify tthis strategy.
