    If the Updater displays an error that it’s incompatible with your version, make sure you have the correct version and other data in your Windows registry (regedit.exe)!

    buildId=55217500675005084

    The Updater only works with this buildId, since this is the version of the game it needs. If you have downloaded this version as a complete folder (no installer), then you can edit the value and use the patch. If you have a different version, you need to update your version first to 1.50 Hotfix2.

        You look into your game folder for “goggame-1423049311.info”.
        Open it with a text editor and check the “buildId”. It should be “55217500675005084”.
        If you have this version, create a new file named “cyberpunk.reg” on your desktop and open it with a text editor.
        Copy the code at the end into that file and edit the path values (use \\ instead of normal \ for the path!). Currently it’s set to use “C:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077” as game folder. If you have set everything correctly, save the file and then execute it to insert the values into your windows registry. The GOG Updater should now work (if you have done everything right).
        Here is the code (everything below belongs into the .reg file!):

          so, did everything you’ve said, changed the paths and added to the registry, but when I try to update, the updater shows “There is not enough disk space for the update” (I’m instaling it on a HDD, with a free 506gb)

            nevermind, got it working! thanks dude!! (btw, this website doesn’t allow you to select the text and copy it, i’ve used an “Extract Text from an Image” AI to do it, still needed to correct some things, but got it working)

    HEllo, I am new in this so pls bear with me.

    How do I update this game, since this is a pre installed game I did not bother installing it in my system.

    I already downloaded the patch for 1.52 but it says it cannot detect the installation path.

      Check the comment from Gonzales above.
      I don’t exactly know which base version of the game you need for this update, but I assume it’s something like v1.5 Hotfix 2-GOG. Make sure the buildId in your goggame file is 55217500675005084, otherwise the update won’t work properly.
