   so… first time updating a pirated game, how is this supposed to work? already tried but the game won’t open, luckily made a back up so I still can play, but I’d love guidance.

    Al final sí funciona. Yo he desinstalado el juego (backup de partidas, aunque no es necesario). Lo he instalado entero. He instalado idiomas. He actualizado versiones .4, .5 y .6, sin verificar archivos (si lo haces borra algunos archivos). No he puesto el crack de codex en ningún momento.

    In the end it does work. I have uninstalled the game (backup of games, although it is not necessary). I have installed it whole. I have installed languages. I have updated versions .4, .5 and .6, without verifying files (if you do, delete some files). I have not put the codex crack at any time.

    the game dont work after this update, and i can see im not the only one with that problem – quick question though – did You instal update in english – and your ingame language is different, ive read somewhere this might be issue

    it works perfectly.
    to do this properly I reinstall the game, then the patches in order (in English) 1.04,1.05,1.06.
    No worries at launch no crash in game.

    hi guys, i need your all support please….i could never run this game after installation…. first install was version1.03..did not run–crashed everytime… after that i deinstalled and installed again and again… same result—crashed several times…after installed the updates vrsion 1.03 into 1.04 and from version 1.04 into 1.05 the same results… did not run–crashed everytime… my hardware is: ASRock 770 extreme3, CPU AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor 3.21 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030, Memory 16GB RAM, DirectX 12, Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042, could anybody please help me???

    Yes it does work, first time it did not tho, verification did not pass on a clean install 1st time and game just crashed, i redownloaded from another link, and reinstalled again from scratch and it worked fine~

    It does work all right.

    I am with the CODEX version. Installed all patches from STEAM version. You must have 1.05 already installed.

    Install in same language like the game. ALWAYS, before, now and in the future.
    Do not verify files in the end.

    HAVE FUN.

    @ahmad shami i’m not sure why it keeps crashing but i’ d suggest update ur graphic card driver and then watch any youtube guide video shows you how to optimize from the setting

    hey, if the game doesn’t work after you installed this one, you have to do it in order, do the 1.04 first then 1.05, and finally this one ( i have the same problem as you guys im installing 1.04 then jump into 1.06 it doesn’t work then I redo it in order and it works fine for me!

    TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH UPDATE PROCEDURE HERE ARE THE STEPS
    1 YOU NEED TOSELECT THE FOLDER WHERE THE GAME IS INSTALLED WHILE RUNNUNG THE THE UPDATE EXE

    2 WHEN UPDATING IS DONE WAIT TILL YOU GET THE SCREEN WHERE IT SAY VERIFY FILES

    3 DO NOT SELECT VERIFY OPTION OR ELSE U R FUCKED

    LAUNCH THE GAME AND ENJOY

    work for me 860 i7 8gb ram gtx 970 g1 instal update let it go dont verifi files when done load save hade no crash etc still few texture issues etc but works ok

    Hope all know that you start game from E:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 and not E:\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\REDprelauncher

    list of fixes in update not much really

    Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Here is the full list of changes:

    Quests

    Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

    Console-specific

    Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

    PC-specific

    Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.

    To those who are having crashes at the beginning of the game or during the first scenes I have managed to get the game to work but I am not sure how so I am sharing with you everything I have done…hope it might help

    1- Installed the game (crashes at the first scene)
    2- Updated the Graphic Driver (still crashes)
    3- download and installed all the three updates in the right order and verified the files (still crashes)
    4- Uninstalled the game and Reinstalled it (it worked just fine)
    5- Applied the updates without verifying files (it is still working fine)

    I have no idea why it was crashing at first and why it is not crashing now…I am around 3 hours into the game and haven’t experienced a single crash yet.

    Steam update is more direct and user friendly to install than gog one. Performance isn’t really that noticeable either when compared to gog.

    Had to make full reinstall to make ir work.
    Also, who have no character and NPC voices, change language to english in this file

    Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\steam_emu.ini.

    It should look like this:

    For those of you for which the patch is’nt working. Either you are using fitgirl repacks and didnt installed the optional credits file. reinstall your game with the file and the game should work fine.

    Ok game works its buggy but playes am 30hr in no crash etc after first patch. I see what many of you do wrong Instal the game BUT DO NOT Veriffy files*** that is the problem you do it messes them up install game then all patch from 1 to latest and again DO NOT VERIFY files and it will work for you Enjoy ..Did that mistake 5 times install reinstall then i whent reddit and one guy sed that work and tons of thanks ..
