Gugys it works perfect. Just note the following:
1. You need 90GB free on the drive you are installing.
2. Make sure you installed 1.04 update first and when you open game it shows 1.04 and your folder size is 62GB(approx). DONT let the updater verify files.
3. Now install 1.05 update and again make sure you have 130GB free space and dont let it verify when its done. Afterwards, the game folder should still be 62GB approx.
4. PROFIT!

It has been stuck at “Finishing installation” for over 1+ hours on my SSD NVME. Also, my game’s size drops to 35GB from 60GB???? What is going on?? I still have 400GB of free space.
Do I need the v1.04 before installing this?

Before updating, make sure to bake up the file Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\inputUserMappings.xml
The update delete it.
After updating, copy/paste your saved inputUserMappings.xml in it’s original folder and you are good to go.

This game is the real GOTY 2020 am shure of that, CD Projekt had done a mistake not keeping old gen versions for later in time.
This game is more original innovative with more choices and consequences and more novelty and diversity than TLOU 2 wich is nearly the same product as TLOU 1 wich was very good indeed.Journalists and youtubbers are the slaves of the 1 % producers and will always incence the infinite following games like COD 600 or Assassins Creed 500 or ZELDA 12 000 ect don’t be as stupid as them choose the difference and the innovation for AAA.

Ok before this patch i hade to use mod no more ..started up continue+ save file work great now even performance is better so that i cud go from all low to few medium.instal take time as patch before let it be took me 1 hr on usb externarl drive instal patch’s before in a row up to latest one and DO NOT when last patch is done verify files DO NOT DO THAT saw a post on that so i dident and all great now.thanks

If the update failed, you have to uninstall and reinstall the base game, update to 1.04, then to 1.05, making sure you have enough free space as the updated shows you should have and DO NOT tick the “verify game files” option when its done installing. That worked for me!

Hey, guys! for those who”ve crash when continue at start screen, you should’ve back your input context and input user mapping. IF you’re not backing up, i’ve found this amazing mod , just search on nexus site- E to Interact – V to Walk and Drive – Dedicated Dodge – Dialogue Scroll-. Apply this mod and you’ll be fine!

where are the save game folder? i couldnt find it. no in user folder and subfolder.
Save must be in subfolder “Saved Games” in user folder.
Great job. Messed up a few times with the 2 patches that led to having to install it all over. The game (1.03) must be completely vanilla and u guys must install 1.04 and 1.05 directly to the exact folder or it will be flatlined xD.
But anyway, cars now look like potatoes after the patch (Like they wont render). It was fine before 🙁

Last try to disable realtek speaker from control then enable.(restarts sound service)
Then run game and DONT press Continue Just LOAD your saves. ENJOY!

Nobody is talking about if this update increase some performance? I have Ryzen 5 2600, rx 480 4gb and 12 gb ram, and with 1.02 this game was unplayable (30 – 40 fps everything in low) and i uninstalled it. So, worth the time to download the game again for the performance update?

1.05 has AMD support for 6core cpu like ours r5 2600. its very playable.

The Steam update was only 1.6 or 1.7GB… can’t remember. So it’s legit. Idk why it’s so much different on GOG, but I own it on Steam and can verify the size of the patch.
This is bs my 1.04 won’t finish installing. It just hangs with a i5-9200k & 32GB DDR4 ram. My game is on another harddrive also but the progress bar just sits at the end with 2 cmd running in the background seemingly doing nothing. I even tried leaving it on overnight. Shitty patch

When i try to apply patch i get an error that says:
Invalid Memory Access. then nothing happens. (this is after i have copied the files to the root of game dir using the Codex version converted to GOG for patch 1.4

I got the Flatline error on start up which I had to reinstall the 1.03 version then update to 1.04 to be able to play again. However, I made a copy of the game tried installing the 1.05 update again and this time i made verify the files and non of the files were defective (bad) then I launched the game and it worked.
The 1.5 update made my game perform worse. Switched back to 1.4

What I did finally:
1) Uninstall all, delete folders.
2) Install 1.03 (the Codex full version)
3) install 1.04 – the installer looks like it does nothing (finishing install forever). Actually, if you check the drive occupation, it’s changing constantly – so the installer actually do something.
4) Cancel de 1.04 (thought it hanged).
5) Install 1.05 (just for the lol) – the game wont start.
6) Install againg (without uninstalling) 1.03 – check: the game starts fine.
7) Install 1.04 – it took forever, but finished fine – check: whoah, game starts and also take the language (spanish in my case) correctly.
8) Install 1.05 – took also long time but finished fine, check: yeah! It works! 1.05 on spanish!
Have 8700, 16gb DDR4 and SSD drive, btw. All the times i tried, all installers took different time (don’t know why).

2) extract with iso program, and install
3) copy and past (replace Bin files)
4) download : cyberpunk-2077-update-v1-04-steam
5) open rar and install in the same location
6) download : cyberpunk-2077-update-v1-05-steam
7) open rar and install in the same location

For those they loose voice, please follow these instruction to fix audio :
1.) Go in install folder : eg : D:\Jeux\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
2.) Edit file : steam_emu.ini
3.) Edit line 3 : “Language=” to “Language=english”
4.) Save and launch the game.
For me, Update set “french” but I have not french audio file “lang_en_voice.archive”.
Before modification, I could not change “Audio, Interface & subtitle” language.
After modification, you will have NPC voice and you can revert to your language for subtitle.
Netherless, you will have to set “subtitle language” each time you will launch the game.
We have to share our “audio_XX_voice.archive” to fix the issue.

I installed the Steam verion of the game, then intalled patch 1.04, I did not do any of the conversion to gog bullshit, and then I installed update 1.05.
I let it install without breaking off the installation, and yes, it does take long, it is not frozen, it took about 30-40 minutes to install, and it is working fine for me, I have not had any crashes after updating and the framerate and gameplay actually seems smoother, not stuttering or jitteryness.
The people who say the update just hangs are full of shit and idiots. It doesn’t hang, they just have no patience, the last part installs slowly, VERY slowly.
It goes flatline. Anyone can help?
After adding the update, unfortunately, the characters disappeared and the screen turned black. Only I hear the voices behind the lists. Does anyone know the solution to this problem, please?
